bit of both, it has all elements, FL passion, looked down by people, ML constantly bashing FL, his harsh word has hidden benefits to FL, second male lead, very deserving, 2 second female lead, one is childish and will not be a problem, but the other second female lead is cunning and big issue.
But it is not that angsty, you can easily watch, but the it is long process of them falling for each-other, probably by 25th episode or something.
more worried about of SFL, there is another Second Female Lead, who is suffering or some kind of shit and like ML very much. She looks actually cunning.
Music and the OST KW sang is out of this world, the lyrics and composition is very hard. He almost got out of breath but never went out of tune, specially the low notes on the ending stanza of a doing played in credits.
Regarding story, till EP11, they keep opening layers and layers of new secrets but the good thing is they are all tied to one story that revolves around ML. Which usually I prefer in every crime drama, as rather than opening and adding more arc, I prefer layers stories tied to one, in a very uniform manner, which Be Reborn is just doing that.
LC is too hot to handle, he is not a typical white skin, very handsome looking guy but he is extremely sexier & attractive guy way more than ML. I really fancied him in My Little Happiness, plus he is tall, lean, and has abs, I mean too bad he is not gonna end-up with FL.
I Just hope they don't portray him in a bad image, as I might have an idea that they will show him really caring about NM, but because of the nature of his job, he will be shown greedy and NM will be shown trusting him too much, only to be saved mu ML. And the jealousy will play huge role as well. And in the SML will lose everything and bid NM farewell, and go back abroad. (novel readers back me up if that is true.)
EP08 & 09 were another amazing episodes, there is a slight change in ML behaviour, and now that SML is here, and it is very clear to me he liked her in her university days as well, but NM misunderstood and had no idea, has already started a war.
there is nothing in this series, they are just making these short BL to gain viewers now.
Anyway I some how didn't disliked it, I guess HGH needed more push to go into industry that is why he accepted BL roles. Anyway whatever the reason, hope he gets what he is aiming for.
Not a bad impression on Holland part either, he just doing fine.
EP#03 got me excited, I guess real spice will start from EP#04.
I have a feeling that LJM asked SY to hire NM and lobbied for her all along.

Lee Jin Wook in Bulgasal has it, Siwoon in Work Later, Drink now kept a beard and no stubble, Park HeeSoon in My Name looked hot, Lee JeHoon in Taxi Driver and Move to Heaven.
Historical drama or setting requires facial hair mostly while they are postiche but sometime actors do grow facial hair for roles.

The subs are not correctly translated, but as I know Chinese, I can extract meaning of subs, and I am just surprised it is not known.
Perhaps people didn't expected a fat, goofy and not so good looking girl to be a FL.
