If there is a good second lead then I am gonna have a biggest SLS ever. Because I don't like ML and even though he will grow but If SL turns out to be better than ML then I will have heart attack of knowing that she will never end-up with SL.
I just hope FL power is shown to the fullest and despite them looking down on her she rise like a Phoenix in every situation without major setbacks. I hope there are not many downfall for FL, for once show that Leads can progress without too much problem in there life.
there is literally no match for Tan Song, she does what she does best. She is a very rare actor who put true efforts and justice to her job, because Chinese dramas are very superficial, the stories and settings are very quick, and does not give enough chance to viewers to relate with them, but TS really makes viewers like her, as she has an aura that says...yes she is leading actor.
I am sorry but she outshined LJM, as she has before to her many lead co-stars. And it is just 1st episode of this series.

its a hit for me... it is literally the cliched BL, Uke (bottom) literally breaths like crazy, smiles like a fool, shy all the time and does cringe worthy things, but it is equally addicting as it has equally responding Seme (top), great kissing, intimate scene, group of loyal supportive friends, no evil characters, sheds light on a person who is gay or transgender person but also effeminate deals with people judgment, body shaming, and how people view two men in a relationship based on looks and criticised.
It touches all the topics but it does not give you any life changing lessons (not required anyway), but shows character growth on how they should love themselves first before they go for love hunting.
So this BL is not made for those who loves to nitpick everything. It is just that simple.
EP#5-6 were even more intense, the title song feel so close to your ears and feels someone is humming words. It is that good. The acting and plot is very layered and the case that felt could be solved by 4 episodes is actually one of the first hidden scheme hidden in bigger agenda. So, I am liking it that each episode opens a new layer of a same story and gets you intrigued and hooked.
For those who have felt or wondered that why it is always police manages to catch the criminal so earlier in criminal/political type series, even though main culprits, who are at large are yet to be caught is because police cannot be shown in a negative light. In other series from other countries, culprits are never caught early and police are shown evil individuals with malice and hatred, in China such depictions of national people, department, or agencies are not allowed by CPC.
That is why CN series despite having potential, seems already decided and carefully crafted. This series also, starting from episode 1 to 6, there wasn’t a single moment of angst, why because the ML was always trusted by police and police were on his side and helped managed to break the criminal.
If that was another show, police would have never trusted let alone believed ML, he would have been framed or humiliated before he could be proven innocent.
No matter which series you pick in from China in such aspect you will find it carefully fabricated to instilled CPC rules. Which is fine for me, as they have to obey to their country and constitution, unlike many countries where law just exist by name.

There is a likeness between Wen Jie and his schoolmate, but he is more concerned about her safety then love her. It might be there but focus is not there, not as of 4th episode. But there will be no romance.
OMG PHJ is one fine man. His visuals, and skinny physique is one to droll for.
Here is the thing with JKJ, I saw her first time in Come and Hug Me, there ML JKY stole the show with his powerful acting, and overshadowed JKJ in every aspect, but I never disliked her, as her acting was commendable.
However, a leading actor has an aura, that I never felt with JKJ, even her last family drama, she was a lead, but I never felt her truly leading the show. And this series is no different as well. Whole show is kind of carried by PHJ and man the first two episode was hilarious, emotional and very well performed.
I believe the rating is just a mere error, as it has been in many series before. When the ratings recovers it should be 8.3ish, coz the show has everything what it meant for.
