You understood my comment way at the beginning, when people failed to understand why they broke up or were looking for typical reason.
Their breakup had nothing to do with falling out of love or any cheating involved, as I said in my comment of 2nd episode, that the boy never assured her of her importance in his life.
She was testing him, to make a final decision, as she was already going too much and on that his love wasn't enough, his surety was, which he failed to utter from his mouth.
I know the universal rule is actions speaks louder than words, but sometimes, silence kills the essence of a relationship if it kept long enough. In their case, and in her words "he was the only thing she could throw", was heartbreaking for him, but it was death to her as well.
The meaning was in her life full of miseries, she can't have him give up for her and neither she can hold onto him, when she had no idea, what her life was going to be and the only thing that was the easiest to cut off from her life was him, because he was the only thing in her life she could save.
He was naive and aloof, and she knew it, so she made him give up on her, only to lie to herself that they will forgot each-other.
Also, I am confirmed her grandmother died sometime in past 5 years she was absent, and now she keep imagining her, for the grief she hasn't overcome yet.
The loneliness with her high pride and the shield she has built around her all her life is not easy to break into. Ungi, has to make a real effort this time to make her feel alive.
She is no longer the strong YS and can break any moment, her loneliness has broken her from inside and if he doesn't give her, his shoulder this time, then this is it for them.
I truly hope by tomorrow episode they see each other in a new direction, together. If not together yet.
I hope my baby GYS doesn't have to suffer. She has pride...I hope writer won't make her break her pride. I mean her pride is not something bad...But I also agree she is too cautious to set herself fee.
But please do not make her beg for anything. She is not that kind of character and certainly not her personality.
I truly hope Ungi truly realises what went wrong and why despite him loving her too much... They broke up. His for granted personality needs to be gone and her pride needs to have some low standards.
NJ should side herself after knowing she doesn't stand a chance. If she turns evil...It will be a true waste of good story that has managed to raised standard so far.

Too many heart breaking moments, and struggles of life, took my breath away in a sad sad way.
Her life was nothing but a misery at the hands of time. She couldn't turn back time, as the oppression of time and grief left her heart iced.
She could not love anyone or anything, after what life took from her, and she did the worst to her child by ignoring him, and completing denying him.
So at the end of her life, the regrets, the grief, the sadness that she kept and buried in her heart for 50 years, came to life in a different form and she tried to salvage the broken pieces to the best she could, and in the end she did and choose the moments she was happy in.
The scene between young Joonah and Hyejaya competing over who is more poor, broke my heart.
The scene where old Hyejaya talks to Joonah picture at his memorial, broke my heart.
The young Joonahya and hyejaya, watching the heavenly golden sunset with their son, broke my heart into pieces.
The scene where he tells him, wait for him at home, he will come after dark, broke my heart.
The old grandma, ignored by his own child, who pretended to live a glamorous life, broke my heart.
The old grandma at the center who regrets not treating her daughter better than her sons, and her apology to her daughter in the middle of dark, only to realise it was too late, broke my heart.
Hyejaya, daughter in law kindness, her hard work and Hyejaya thanking her broke my heart.
In order to sump up, in 12 episodes, it was too much for me handle, I wish I could watch this again, and I will but for now I don't want to be sad.
It is one of those dramas, I have downloaded and kept in a safe place, in case it doesn't exist anymore.

I mean unless she truly comes to have power and be like Scarlet Witch, then it will be super interesting to watch.

As a huge fan of this series, I had to change it, so I did it few months ago, and it cleared the air and kept the cliffhanger in mystery as well.
do we need such plot in such time. its like the first story that was ever made when television came to this world.

every character I like, there is too much chemistry between leads.
