In episode 18 the way seamstress family tell the second brother clearly and warn him of their sister's happiness, this should have been done for SY family as well.
But sadly, I feel sorry for SY parents, they have to go through humiliation, because of their daughter unconditional sacrifices and too much consideration. So much of a family and traditional drama, where girl haven't even told her parent that they are married. In Asia it is almost death to a family if it is happened like that, yet people here value the tradition and culture this drama is depicting. Double standards.
Stop giving this reason, his parents died, his family hates him and he is a loner - thats a basic plot in CN drama land. This is not real life. If they want to be realistic, then stop making films and drama, because real life is not that melodramatic, and people are not embroiled in riches.
Historical setting I can understand, no skin-ship, intimacy, only their pure love plus heavy plot against them. But in modern time, both characters failed to excite. I don't feel chemistry at all. And it is my opinion. Like SY said herself, she is the one initiating everything, ZSC failed to bring the growth in character.
