As someone who has lived in China, and has been going there, I know very well, their culture, their traditions, their media, their rules on TV and what type of content a TV can air and what is not allowed.

Yes Chine restricts everything that goes against CPC policy, they don't care about LGBTQ as long as it doesn't hinder with CPC rules on familial thoughts and Image of China, and this goes for religion, people, groups and organization. Thats what a communist country does, it controls from A-B. There is no long way to go as long as Communism is there.
I have no problem, it is there country and they are serving them people better than all, but my point here is not to comment on government, I am simply stating, an alteration in work can not be considered as original when made for TV or film, in same genre. I consider, Untamed, Word of Honor, Chasing The Light, A League of Noblemen, Wandering, and other such work, as BL not bromance, and I like to see them in their original form, not censored, not toned downed and not changed. So for me they re not BL it just a series, as it is a deviation from original work.

They are not, they are just adapting work as BL has huge fan following. It is now money making thing. And it always tops the ratings. They comply with CPC rule, as well as make ton of money. Its a win win for them.

I have a same issue, they made Fiat, a slut, whinny bitch and too much dependent on the kindness of men. I mean, we know Fiat is a "uke", but writer made him look like slut and a whore, and completely destroyed his identity. It looks like it is not about two people in love, but 1 person opening his legs for everyone, just because Leo didn't love him back.
It is embarrassing for me to watch people gossiping about him, having sex with other men, and calling him a slut. Like they have so free time to gossip about this thing.
Also, the writer made him too feminine, I don't know if I can use this word, or euphemism to describe his character, and I apologize if it is offensive to anyone, but Fiat as a character have no confidence, independency, or ability of making decision own his own.
Leo, literally does everything for him, from letting go to have him his ways to making him his boyfriend to handling things for him, has made him this little cub who is afraid to let go of his mother.
Plus, they are both rich, embroiled with rich-problems, I can still give up on that, but seeing Fiat begging Leo for his mistakes and behaving like a person to be saved by his love, is irritating for me.
I mean, such character in past or even in present in some countries is still portrayed by girls, and given to female characters. Seeing Fiat in such role, is not an issue, as everyone has a character, and I am open to accept anyone, but Fiat as a person is too low for his own good.
