So from synopsis ML is a secret agent... So why is FL holding a gun to him in the teasers like he is a terrorist:-?
If you have seen British one, you will understand, as FL becomes high ranking official, like third to the highest position in Law enforcement a can become AG in not time. Her husband, a secret agent, was tasked to infiltrate and destroy their campaign against anti-racism organization in past, and her friend a leader of that organization was killed in prison by higher-ups. Her husband fell for her, and has lived a lie ever since, also when she is elected to that office, she starts the investigation of her friend murder, and higher-up becomes anxious, then comes her husband, who were part of this whole fiasco in past, whether he killed her friend or not, he was wrong to being with.
The Untamed is still higher so I doubt this is the highest right now.
If you say so.
Also any drama based on BL novel from China I don't pass it as BL or LGBTQ as they make it now for ratings and money as public will watch them no matter.
So... For me those are not BL as they are not true to their original work. Period.
kinda curious where 14 years come from? BL has been around way longer than 2007
"Officially". Only LGBTQ themed films were there, very few series and they weren't called BL or yaoi. The genre BL started from around 2006. But BL manga and comics started its journey in 1980s from Japan and before 1980s, it was also present but limited very limited.
ITSAY and this together with Life on Line, is going down to be one of the best BL series ever made in past 14 years since the BL industry officially started in Asian countries.
All three series were realistic, raw, suffocating, and perfectly made contemplating emotions at perfect pace.
As I am rewatching: In episode 1, when she is wearing lipstick, she remembers Min Sung, and wears it off, man that was so sad and so considerate, very few people are able to do that.
for those wanting to drop it give it a goo... as it has picked up its usual pace from ep#4. However do not expect anything exceptional, as it has nothing new, nothing fresh.
My heart sinks for secretary Cho. He is beaten in every ecene he appears. Poor "sole". I have no idea why he took this role. But I am so fascinated by the character that why he isn't leaving JDT. He should get back at him and as this is like the worst secretary and boss relationship I have ever seen.
I do not understand what people expected, Ryan Murphy would come to direct it and Christopher Nolan would write the script?
I enjoyed it, I know it is not best, but it not too bad either. Lower your expectations when you watch a BL series. They have limitations, I know many will argue that many other great series are there, but just in general, always lower your expectations when you are watching any LGBTQ film and content.
They still have a long way to go, and we should always cut them slack. Having said, I also understand that why it has problems, like from season 1 to 2 there was no character development, its like watching same series just two different versions, but still I liked it.
The only problematic character was Leo, I mean what the absolute fuck, who let their "friends" sleep in their arms and beds and I want to know where are those people who come running from another country worrying for their just "friends". I mean bro you need to tell that little twink, you like him, so he should stop ruining other people and sleeping around.
This series together with marriage episode, does leave a good memory if not best.
I don't want to see any romance, there is just no place for it in this show, their bromance is a greatest gift we have. They are friends and not son-father type relationship.
Completely respect your opinion.
