A mediocre CGI lower the quality of production with a direct blow. The opening scene of 3rd episode, even an amateur watcher can tell the difference with good and bad CGI.
How about American series, Westworld? Did they lower the CGI, and it is a drama. Both drama has round about budget that can bear excellent CGI, just countries are diff.
STM has a budget of round about 20$ million US dollar, which is 25 billion won. So no excuse.

The intense scenes, with this low quality CGI of this grand production, put me off seriously. I can bear sci-fi without CGI, but if they decided to go so high-fi, they should hire people or tech capable of producing CGI of Avengers series level.

But the thing is, it is not science fiction, it is more of a good vs bad. Human element is a core of a show. In this show science fails big time, but humanity ended up victorious.
Last 4 episode is going to be a thriller threshold and fast pacing. The first scene of first episode is going to repeat and we will all be on our seat edge, hoping for a happy ending.
I don't want open ending, bitter-sweat ending - I want a normal ending, even if it does not involve HAPPY in it. I want ending that should make peace with its audience.

Of course, while showing on tv or film, they need to dramatize the events, but this is the reality of East Asian countries (SK, JP, CN), school bullying, pressure, toxic environment, either turn people victims or perpetrators.
We can deny all despite knowing deep down, how cruel, unfair and unjust K-Pop industry is. Girls, boys, actors, actresses, being rapped, assaulted, forced to do things they don't want.

Exactly thats what I liked her, she is straight, to the point and fast, may be because it is the writing. Also, I watched her foolish character in Suspicious Partner, and now watching her strong self, is kinda good to see.
