A completely different, fascinating film that will devour and crush the soul of every sensitive viewer, fully…
haev you seen Boss other work??? he was remarkable, outstanding 4 years ago, he created I series at such a young age, when no other director could make something, I series is the best series in Thai BL world.
In my opinion, no other director matches Boss's vision. While many can come up with stories, P'Boss stands out as a master of direction and storytelling, bringing those stories to life with unparalleled visuals.
As I’ve said countless times, the "I" series he directed could easily compete with the works of renowned Hollywood directors and films of the highest quality. "I" was groundbreaking in its technical achievements and direction, setting a standard for visual storytelling. Since then, no Thai TV production has managed to create such breathtaking imagery—until this film, also directed by P'Boss.
He must have Thailand’s best DOP and sound and lighting crew because they create magic on set under his leadership. Together, they deliver a visual and cinematic experience that is truly exceptional.
I dont know if there is a 4th degree of bad or worst...My gosh waht is that??? no one knows how to act...And what about the lady...a typical Thai staple character in BL but she is so cringy...but her voice is gem..is she a singer or what????
Ml is supposed to be a director but why is he looking like a high school student the boy looks like 18 and they…
same thought, as soon as I saw the teaser...came to comment...it is not about noona romance, but he actually looks like a small kid, and not yet having mature looks.
He is too young for the role he is playing, he actually looks like a high-schooler...against the FL. I don't care about agae and all..never had...but their looks is opposite...
I have only watched till episode 3, but I think the sound effects they used are meant to reflect how astronauts…
thats true, but those should be perceived sounds by astronauts not like actual drilling sound. There are no drilling sound but a vibration traveling thought their solid suit reaching to their ears. But when FL spaced out the entire sequence should have been without sound, but all those sounds were for dramatic purposes, in reality there shouldn't be no sound in vacuum of space...but then again it is Korean series and not some space exploration, so I didn't mind that.
The film Gravity is the most accurate depiction of space in history of cinema. Although some of the things like usage of fire extinguisher to maneuver precisely and the whole ordeal the actors went through is not possible, it was dramatic, but what mattered scientifically was absolutely accurately carried out. They added the sound in trailer as studio wanted an excited trailer, but in film during the entire outside space mission and incident there is no sound.
Anyway just leave it...it is not some serious sy-fy.
there are no sounds in space…and yet we hear screw sounds, drilling sound …lol when you make such high tech series…can’t you maintain the integrity of the science??? but then again there re already too many blunders that this one was nothing…
is it me or others as well that show doesn't feel uniform. like there is no uniformity among scenes...It feels random scenes put together and everything is just quick and get over with type...I feel like I watched 2 epsiodes but what is the story and flow I have no Idea.....
I'm going to respectfully disagree. I don't think Real is abusive, I think Real realized his feelings for Hia…
Your perspective is thoughtful, and I appreciate how you've analyzed the complexity of Real and Hia's dynamic. While I still feel that Real’s actions, particularly in emotionally charged moments, can come across as harsh, your explanation adds depth to his motivations. Real's behavior, as you said, could stem from his internal struggle, using his "toughness" as armor to protect himself. That’s a very human and understandable reaction to overwhelming emotions.
However, my concern lies in the impact of his actions on Hia. While Hia might be naive or carefree, and that can be frustrating for someone like Real, his behavior doesn't justify how anger is expressed in a way that verges on aggressive. Relationships, whether friendships or more, thrive on communication, and Real’s tendency to shield himself through anger can be damaging if left unchecked.
I also agree with you that Hia needs to grow emotionally and become more self-aware. Both characters clearly have a lot of learning to do—Real needs to address his own vulnerability and express it more constructively, while Hia needs to recognize how his actions might unintentionally affect others. It’s this kind of growth that makes their relationship so compelling to watch. Hopefully, we’ll see both of them meet each other halfway in the episodes to come.
I think Jin is really a shaman, he can see future and know things but don’t tell anyone and jokes around. it was obviously when he told the teacher quiz thing…and he warned Cir also…either he knows or can know…
how they change their perspective like a chameleon, super fake and over the top...one of the worst aspect of this show.
The grandparents and mother, suddenly finds him angle and they are praising GJ as if he has given birth to them, and they never knew him before and never said a word of hurtful to him...wow..
2ML arc is worse, how come he is this useless??? including FL.
ML at this point is way to perfect to be an angle, looks super cringy...
The good thing about this show, no secret last forever, and nothing is draggy...if writer has intended this, then she should have created a show with 20-24 eps. or max 30 like old Korean family drama ep count.
I actually find Real to be quite abusive. I’m not trying to sound overly critical or "woke," but his inability to confront and name his feelings seems to manifest as anger, which then turns into abusive behavior—whether physical or verbal. This isn’t just unhealthy; it’s genuinely horrible.
It reflects a deeper issue within him, and while some may sympathize with his struggles, it doesn’t excuse his anger outburst on Hia out of sudden...I feel or Hia, who is also struggling with his feelings and wants Real to take charge, but no one says it first, but that doesn't mean Real can talk to him in a bad way or extremely rude way and pushed him and then apologize!!! Is that how you love someone? I don't think so.
I genuinely hope Real can soften himself and meet Hia at his level, learning to truly understand him and let go of his ego and pride. In a relationship, if one person refuses to compromise, the other has to bend to make things work. Otherwise, the relationship is bound to fall apart. Mutual effort and humility are essential for building a connection that lasts. Here's hoping Real realizes this before it’s too late.
People complain all the time, I don't know why. Not all actors are supposed to be under the mighty GMMTV, and not all series have to be top-notch productions. Every series and actor brings something unique to the table, and that's what makes the entertainment industry so diverse and interesting. Instead of comparing everything to a high standard, why not appreciate the effort and creativity behind each project?
For me, it was a very decent episode with an interesting plot, even though the concept isn't entirely new. I don’t understand why people can’t be patient. We’ll eventually find out how he ended up in the parallel world and what happened to Phu in the other world. These answers are meant to unfold gradually, piece by piece, not all crammed into the first episode. The mystery is part of the journey, and that's what keeps it engaging! Let’s give the story time to build its layers and surprises.
ps. both are gorgeous and handsome, and superficial me is satisfied with it.
ML deserves so much better, and not FL. FL was useless in this series, like if she weren't there and just her arc was there...this series would still work fine.
All are trash, SML is just trash, I didn't expect him to have father love ozing out that he took GJ position, I thought he was planning revenge but he was really aiming for a son and position. Didn't like that part.
All in all, this was light family drama, without any overdramatic twist and turns.
