Another gem of an episode...The scene where Kohei was cutting onion was actually a heartache and not Sulphur that formed his tears. And then without a word just sound of cutting...his mother understood his pain and started crying as well..was one of the best scene...
A mother knows her child...and when she is unable to give them what they want, she can only cry with them...What a magnificent scene..I sobbed with them.
Sometimes slow burn tales are the best. this is not a sex drive story...It is about their struggle and finding their true path amidst comes love type story. People just can't be patient on that.
OMG the sudden surge of emotions and electrifying chemistry in EP 5 is a treat to watch. When they are in one scene together, feels like no one else exist. JT without words speaks volumes of his affection for SW.
SW sudden flush of water in eyes makes him a puppy, although he sheds no tear, but always when JT looks at SW, his eyes filled with water, I have noticed this often, that he is always on a verge of cry, as if JT is a reason of tears whether joy or sad. SW is someone who needs attention, and when JT cares for him, he becomes teary, love that. Just love that.
JT comforting SW feel likes he fell for SW so hard that he can't even hide his fear, joy and patience, the natural pull towards SW is just a habit of JT. JT giving SW piggy back, because SW wanted it (faked it) is a damn cute thing...and they don't even care now that they are with their parents.
I love it! People can be so stereotypical. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but opinions should be reasonable and not just blatant attacks on something simply because you can't accept it.
As I mentioned before, all other versions of "AH" and the original were substandard in production. Since it is a BL series from China, it had to be censored. Even with the censorship, there were numerous technical errors, and the production quality wasn't impressive at all—just average. The original production and camera work were not up to par. We liked it (including myself) because when something becomes a mystery, it piques our interest. The incomplete status of the original and the remake left fans on a cliffhanger, which made us feel they were good. But if you look at it rationally, it was ordinary.
As for this one, I like it all, just as I love the original ones. Episode 4 was really good. It showed significant progress in the story, and it was well-balanced—not rushed, with no cheesy dialogue, no cringe-worthy moments, and nothing bad so far. It's an ordinary series with a really good cast, and the two leads, Mac and August, are doing a perfect job.
So before you criticize this one, just think—are you doing this out of personal dislike rather than evaluating the series itself?
Against SH behavior. what does he expect from her??? he is harsh to her, because he thinks she acts clueless...to his feelings... and not over her ex??? that is the problem with childhood friends, one knows and the other don't, and FL has done nothing wrong to SH, no one is virgin, he enjoyed after his heartbreak and she pursued her love...and now they have chance, I have no idea why SH is walking on her the way he wants just because she doesn't respond to his feelings or oblivious to him liking her. His love should be happy and nice, if he really ants to win, he needs to act better. Be jealous but with creative way to win her heart or to make her realize, but not anger outburst, it almost feel abuse, seriously puts me off.
JHI transition from cute puppy to tsuandre ML is a treat to watch, but when it is due. She has done nothing wrong to have this treatment. Not a single excuse of argument on this. All have unrequited or one sided love, but that doesn't mean you treat them bad, just because you failed to convey your feelings, when you had many chances.
With all the wrong choices the son keeps making, he will end up de*d. The Judge will have harder time cleaning…
he will die, that was original story. not sure if they will kill him or not. but both ML son dies and Judge serve his time and then finish the mobster.
SMA diverse ability to play play all of kind of roles is really commendable. i feel like ML is a step brother of SML. Given how his mother had him and his mother story isn't revealed, but it is high possibility.
Jung Hae In's micro-expressions are so good compared to other actors in roco's.
he is a king of expressions, he can't fake it, you will feel like he is actually real but he is not. His performance in SITR and ONS is a testament of his acting skills.
I have said this after watching first 4 ep back in March, that this drama has the worst female cast in entire Korean drama history. The mothers, grandmother, aunt, step mother, including FL is of worst character.
Literally you should only watch first 12 ep and then come back to watch from 41 ep, and it is exactly where you left, nothing changes same story as if it has just started.
I feel sorry of ISH that she has one of the worst casting in drama one after the other. My Ganghnam Beauty was famous because of CEW, sorry but that is true. All of her series are just gutter.
I've seen a 4k version of the original and it looks fantastic. Much of the continuity issues with the production…
As you might know as well, in Thai the age of consent is 15 so based on that there is nothing wrong. It is society thing anyway, not moral and some definite matter.
You can extract or assume different conclusions based on your understanding, but keep all option opens, may be he suited best for the part in eyes of casting director? or other production team members and thats why they selected him, unless and until there was a definite proof of something fishy.
When it comes to age I do not have issue, unless there is something fishy and really immoral stuff rumored to be. For me age difference doesn't matter as long as law allows it and person is of sound mind and sound brain and report something bad happening to them. Age does not give any kind of freedom or restriction, as all kind of abdd things to everyone, at any age, phase or part of life.
But I also second your concern as well, but lets not assume that they had fishy intention or they are too superficial or else..as whether it is BL/LGBTQ industry of Thai, Korea or other country this is a industry of pedophile, and Hollywood is its hub.
