Announcer [ With shocked face] Wow, its a tie between six, congratulations all of them, 수상하신 것을 진심으로 축하드립니다.
special ep was bit better then entire series...but why the production make Banky so feminine ? it feels forced... Like being gay and all, you don't have to make someone so obvious that it is cringe all over, this couple specially...they make Bank wear such revealing clothes, act him so helpless, that it feels the perfect depiction of uke/seme concept but it is so cringe that sometime I just pass their scenes.
It is Banks choice to wear whatever he wan't or however he acts, but as a character I just don't understand why they always make him wear such clothes, that no one would wear in their mundane lives, Since big dragon success, they are choosing outfits for promotions and appearances, that clearly fall under women category.
Woke people please don't argue on this, it is not homophobic or anything, but it is just out of place, like there is no reason....
OMG the director and writer are too accomplished and legendary work is in their profile…DO in his first villain role…I don’t want him to do that..but as an actor he must do…so looking forward to it…
This drama is insane!!! It's a lot different than the novel, actually in the novel it was Gyeon-o who had a crush…
I had suspected NGM behaviors as psycho. She is obsessed with GJ and has stalking behaviour which itself turns her into psycho as her purpose is to just take him away for herself, and not prove his innocence, she couldn't care less. I liked the fact that they changes as no adaptation is 100% true.
I was wondering what is left after 8 ep, when we have 7 ep to go, but now as you said, the suicide of GY breaks thing apart, makes sense that the proper revenge journey starts after his death.
The villagers, oh gosh, one of the worst, not only did they knew who killed who but they framed, brag, thrashed GJ family, made her mother slave, took their property, knowing the truth all along??? How can someone live like this? Don't they know that what they have done no matter will be served to them in this life before their departure.
the remake of legendary and the earliest BL come back, hope it is good, While White and Captain, couldn't become famous and while August is starring in another BL (Addicted Heroin) after long time, as he started his BL journey with the original, hope this strikes the clock, as previous was one just the start of tThai BL industry and wasn't good, if we look back now.
People like CY and CMM are gold, who values human life and remembers someone kindness and small gesture even when they shouldn't...it is actually god gifted quality...otherwise who remembers someone kind act when they were just 3-4 years old??? Both siblings characters are super angelic that it hurts that reality is not same.
The World Clock is cruel, it strikes 24-hours for everyone, but not everyone's time is same.
ps. I laughed my ass out when she was feeding hotdog to Baobao and said "this hotdog is very good, If I had known I would have brought more, Li Si also eat this brand" lol, she turned him into a dog in front of his enemy.
I love the actors, but feel like they stretched it too far that main couple became secondary or even sometime feels like non existent. I feel like their CP is loosing, and they might not do other series sometimes soon...all the older CP have grown and evolved and going into their own ventures, which is fine and good, but I feel like Gun and Off should have done more series together, but anyway I am satisfied with them and their acting, but not with series
EP5 was the one where original AH stopped and got banned and we never got to see what happened after that, finally a version that can satisfy the long lasting wait that even Stay With Me couldn't fulfilled.
I am so glad...this is better than many...unfortunately people are too busy comparing then just enjoying.
It was based on the series and they followed it, however, US has 2 season, and Judges finished the mob after serving time. But here there is no news for second season, even though it should continue. But since Korean drama has ML-FL concept, this series has no young actors and side characters, so the possibility for season 2 just for the sake of Judge to avenge and finish the job, is not enough.
war's acting is truly amazing. for me he is one of the best thai actors together with gun atthaphan !!
Gun is incomparable. He is very low key but those who knows that how famous he and well known face he is. He is almost all directors favorite and is a first generation BL actor, who has acted in all kind of genres, dark, gore, lgbtq, erotic, psycho and what not. He is 30 years old, and has spent 20 years in front of camera, so his status is way above of all actors.
I’m blown away by War’s acting. I’ve always liked him and watched everything he’s been in. He’s truly a next-level actor and has grown so much during the time he was away.
Also, I often say he has a "pungent" voice. While that word is usually used for smells, whenever I hear War’s voice, it strikes me in the same way—distinct and impactful. It’s different, and that’s what makes it stand out.
War's acting is just the highlight of this series....
ps wish they could translate text, and some images that were important. I had to use my own translator to know. Very good start.
I think the comments after the last two episodes are more negative and misleading than the episodes themselves.
First, the reveal of the cooking endeavor was perfectly fine. Her mother didn’t object because the FL spoke eloquently and addressed everything. The father is in denial because he feels responsible for her career choice, which stems from her previous job—one that the people in Korea regard with high esteem, almost as if she had become president. His reaction was natural. However, the brother needs a break. He was sweet at first but suddenly rubbed me the wrong way. I understand the FL has been through a lot, but if she doesn’t speak up, how will people know?
I also think the FL’s ex had less of a presence than expected, not more. Her mother gave him a hard time—she wasn’t pushing her daughter back into his arms, but rather trying to patch things up, since she didn’t know the details of their breakup. It’s only natural to try and fix things when you don’t know the reason behind the split. Despite this, she remained hostile toward the ex. Regarding their breakup, it doesn’t seem like it was a big deal, and I’m sure of that.
Second, the issue with the ring is completely untrue. Given her personality, she was likely just trying to see how it felt. From the trailers and other clips, we know she won’t end up with her ex. Everything will hinge on her illness reveal, which will change everything. I hope her illness doesn’t return and that the ML goes all out to save her. This will be his moment.
As for the funeral hall renovation, it could be seen as his way of thanking the universe for keeping the FL alive, as he wants to honor the place where sorrow resides—where he nearly lost her.
That said, I’m prepared for either ending. Sometimes, sadness in a rom-com can be just as meaningful as a happy ending. Recently, there have been a lot of series with happy endings, so one like this wouldn’t hurt.
Highly disappointed. Such a talented cast and a good concept, but poor execution and writing. Seven episodes in, and there is no uniformity. Is it a non-linear script? Did she try to emulate Tarantino or Nolan from Memento, attempting to piece scenes together and merge everything in the final climax? I don’t think so. The first seven episodes feel mundane if she's trying to set up a big twist in the final episode.
PS: I was highly impressed by Sammon's writing for the past storyline in DFF. It felt as though the past was written by someone entirely different, with the present story handled by separate writer. The writing for the past storyline was absolutely perfect.
Sammon could have kept the story alive here by using more of a 4-Min concept but instead she used it as divergence to make it enthralling but in the end, it fell short on excitement.
