I really hate amnesia trope where ml gets into a new relationship while fl just watches everything happen in front of her, ugh. Thanks to Meteor Garden 2 for inflicting that trauma on me early on in my childhood, lol! If you're someone who, for some incomprehensible reason, enjoys that kind of story though, then I recommend you that show and this one lol.
The only way I was able to watch this show is because of curiosity because I really liked Junsu and Linh's great love shown in the first season. I skipped a lot of eps, especially the first part because obviously, that's where ml shows up with the new girl and where they're still lovey dovey (UGH!), where he meets up with the fl, fl clings onto him, and he shoves her away. PAAAAINNN!!! I started it properly at the part where he starts to warm up to her, and they get a little bit closer. If you're wondering where the "safe" eps start, lol, I'd say ep 13. If you think you can handle more, then try to work your way in to the earlier eps.
I watched it with eng subs in Dailymotion, uploaded by V-Zone Kites account, btw.
Well, this ep tells us that that's not the case. Apparently, their blood just has to mix with water at the same time, and not necessarily with each other's blood.
She didn't do the switching on her own. Kang (in Dali's body) cut his hand while trying to break himself free from being tied with a rope, got into a fight, broke a flower vase, water spilled, and then he accidentally touched it.
He did not forget that he was taken hostage, it's just that the last thing that happened before he lost consciousness was that the palace guards had already arrived where he was, he heard them come, and he was expecting to be rescued. You could see him grin once he heard the guards' arrival, so he was confident that Dali was with them on their way back, not knowing that the bandits managed to escape, taking her with them before the guards got to the room where she was.
I am lost. What accent? You mean her formal speech vs satoori? Why would it upset you? The writer must have wrote…
That she doesn't remember her original Hanyang accent is not correct. The moment she regained her consciousness and spoke to Hongnan after surviving her su*cidal attempt, she spoke in Hanyang accent.
You are right, there are times she switches accent, even Kang noticed and pointed it out. It shows that there are parts of her that she may not remember, but she will never get rid of.
it's hard for me to see SML love for SFL, they shouldn’t have a few eps ago make it seems like he was falling…
I never saw him falling in love with Dali, there was never an indication of that. He raised the idea of marriage because he needed the royal wedding to push through so the SFL can be spared when they start to officially take down the left minister. He admitted to it in ep 7, idk if you’ve watched it yet.
This is a fantasy drama after all, so I say there's no need to be too serious and logical about the body swap aspect of it lol. "It's like kissing yourself", "how can you fall in love with yourself, you must be narcissistic." Try to be romantic for once, and consider the idea that they see beyond the physical, and are in love with the soul inside.
Maybe it's just me, but I find it quite obvious: Every time they enter the internal POV, there is like some kind…
You are right, and aside from that, you can literally see the switch in their acting. There’s a obviously huge difference in how they portray their original role and their soul switch role.
I’ve said i wish they would be wearing the clothes of the swapped body when they internal pov as you call it.…
Lol this doesn’t work especially in ep 6 when Dali has been finally assigned as a court lady 😂 you can’t seriously expect Kang to be dressed like that.
Be fr. I only see unattractive people rising in the entertainment industry lately. Acting isn’t just any regular…
Well obviously, we're not talking about americans here. This is Mydramalist, a rating site for Asian shows, so the context here is asian show businesses, specifically South Korea since this show is korean.
Be fr. I only see unattractive people rising in the entertainment industry lately. Acting isn’t just any regular…
I'm not sure you can call the rising stars of today unattractive. If there is any, can you name them? It's the opposite, as far as I can tell. They are mostly just pretty faces, the "unattractive" ones are the ones not getting the opportunities. And by the way I never said that they only have to be talented and that looks don't matter. The point is that there has to be a balance, but most people only focus on looks.
To each their own. There will always be a new saguek around the corner. The palace intrigue levels you're talking…
You’re right, those pretty, refined actresses would never be able to pull off Sejeong’s wacky acting as they’d be so conscious and worried that it would ruin their pretty, refined looks.
It’s the reason why you now have so many actors with pretty looks but subpar acting, because viewers only focus on looks rather than talent.
Why the rating a bit low here... for me the story is kinda good and this drama will getting more interest soon.…
It will eventually improve as more people come in to rate. It's starting to get traction, and there's so many good reviews all over socmed right now so far.
