Just,The consigliere of a crime family, even in Italy, would never be the one carrying out a hit or a take over…
I think for the consigliere do the hit is because it was personal, at the funeral he called his boss father, so I think that's why he went himself. I don't really know mafia, so I can't say much about that. I'd just like to say there can never really be an accurate depiction of a culture by another culture, because of beliefs, experiences, historical relations will majorly influence said depictions especially with cultures from very different geographical, political and religious etc attributes. Thank you.
As an Italian viewer I feel like saying, please treat the "Italian" parts of this drama just as a fantasy retelling…
Well true, but I won't call it romanticizing. Cos these old men, may or may not have been handsome once, the times just changed, so I'd say outdated not ignorant. Lol, just an opinion tho
Maybe learn who is the writer of the drama before watching?! If you watched Fiery Priest or Chief Kim you must…
Well in Mr Queen, it was the situations that made it funny I think, considering that it was a man from the future that was stuck in a woman's body from the past, the whole idea in itself is so funny.
I gave up on this drama after 4th ep and after reading it maybe it's worth going futher with this.
you should honestly watch it. its quite engaging, like i knew somethings were gonna happen but when they did, it was still grabbing and awesome. you should watch it.
I believe its HIV/AIDS. Social stigma and discrimination is rampant up until now to people with AIDS. There is…
I don't think it's that, cos the doc said it becomes curable and if it was, he has to tell his girl which was never shown. It might be tuberculosis but the disease was never stated so all we can do is speculate
You just described most people. Missed opportunities, not knowing what they want, and not knowing one's limits…
Just because something is entertaining, doesn't mean you can't learn from it. The main point of dramas, movies and others is for entertainment, that can't be denied but if it strikes a different chord in you that is your experience and takeaway. Its main purpose was to entertain you depending on the style of entertainment that tickles your fantasy hence the many Genres.
As for our second leads, yes it is most people in the world, that's why I do not feel pity or that extra zest for them, my life is far from fantastic by the worlds standards but I love it because I know I did everything that is with me, be it my failures or my success or my trying and that has thought me to know when to strike especially when the world hands you opportunities on a golden platter.
As for disliking a drama, that's fair, we can't like everything, but the fact that it concerns the lives of human beings, we should tamper our justice with mercy. I have seen some comments here that just burst my brain and I wonder what would be going through the head of the actor if they read it. Its okay to dislike, its fine actually, but it is not okay to rubbish hard work even if it results in failure. That's all I'm saying.
By the way, what nationality are you? I'm open to making "Abroadian" friends if you are.
Honestly, I don't think the drama was bad, and second lead syndrome, I rarely have that because even the second leads are mostly people who don't know how to get what they want. They stop when they shouldn't stop and then try so hard when they shouldn't. To me that's a foolish thing to do to yourself.
Like I said I don't think the drama was bad, I just think everyone likes to play writer off of people's work, yes some dramas are actually bad, e.g the heirs, I think that drama had a lot of high ratings, it was so bad, it was good. I feel one should understand when watching a drama or a movie that, it is solely for entertainment and if you are not entertained you should not watch it, but badmouthing the actors and crew, in the name of reviews and criticism its just wrong and frankly very stupid. The point is the drams was actually quite good, especially when you understand a writers intent from the beginning which is usually the case for dramas like these
