I did saw some of his fans comments about him being humble on one of his interview back from 2016. They also said he stop going online because he got scold and attack back then on his weibo page. And the screenwriter got blame for giving him too much onscreen time, which make him steal the ML spotlight in the drama Noble Aspiration.

Unfortunately, he didn't even realized he have fans who support him. His first reaction when he saw his crowding fans after this fiasco was to protect his face as if they are mob who are going to throw something at him.

I am blaming those CP fans the most for this fiasco. This is just a baseless rumor. Please don't expect them to collaborate again, especially right now. It better to let thing cold down. This CP thing have done enough emotional damage to him. So please leave him be.

Because their judgment is BIAIS. They didn't think how hurtful it is if someone else is going to do the same thing to their love one as what they are doing right now to Chengyi.

I think this fiasco somehow help him get rid of toxic fans and it will help him gain new fans who are wiser and know how to distinguished things in a rational way.

Look like they are not really is fans, even though they left him, his current drama the Promise of Chang an is not affected at all.

I already show a short clip which show he wasn't ignoring or cold to her. So now, what is the big deal? Brainless people will always find fault in other no matter what even if there is proof right in front of their eyes. I am going to make myself CLEAR, we shouldn't blame both actors, their agency or manager. The real culprit in this controversy are CP fans and YBY fans!!! and now the people who are gullible to believe those rumors and spreading hate in social network.

CP fans have RIGHT to be disappointed, but they have NO RIGHT to go around spreading rumors by being BIAS when it was obvious both actor are avoiding and distancing themselves from each other. Spreading rumors is a revolting act which need an APOLOGY more then what those brainless CP fan ask him to do for his behavior. Those CP fans and those who support them are the one who need to apologize. Because what they are doing right now is called cyber-bullying which is considered a crime.
As for YBY fans, they really need to grow up and stop blaming others to make her appear as usual the victim so she can gain public sympathy. BUT, not everyone is BLIND, BRAINLESS and GULLIBLE.
