When the war broke Between Heaven and the Demon, the deities did not take them seriously and lost many battles because the Demon king found the strongest general (Luohou Jidu). When Haochen was talking about being betrayed by his friend, I think he was not talking about Luohou Jidu nor XJ’s his God of War because it was obvious that he was the one who betrayed them. I have this gut feeling that it was XF (the real God of War) he was talking about. He must have felt betrayed by this friend whose duty was to go into war and help him win the battles against the demons. And knowing XF kind nature, I guess he didn’t want to get involved in the war and the killing. To avoid this, he must have gone into hiding by disguising himself as a Golden bird in the Heaven. When the White emperor somehow befriend Luohou Jidu, in his twisted mind, he decided to killed this new friend (who I suspect he didn’t even considered as a friend) by separating his soul in two (his stellar soul which was his heart got sealed inside a crystal lamp), and his primordial spirit whom he gave the identity God of War. The fact that he never called her by her name is because this name belong to someone else ( SF). At some point, this “God of War” (XJ) must have met the Golden bird (SF) whose real identity is the God of War, and they must have developed some kind of relationship. As we know, their story was witness by the merman. The scene where she was angry and shouting at the White Emperor asking him to explain to her why he never called her by her name, why she doesn’t have family nor any friend most have being when she discovered the real identity of the Golden bird which is the God of War. Her anger makes more sense because she most has felt betrayed and confuse. Why is she taking someone else identity? Why is she battling many battles by using this person identity? Then, who is she? Must have been on her mind when she goes and ask the White emperor. I Think those are the reasons why she was attacking and rebelling, not because she was jealous that WE is going to get married. When she got punished, the Golden bird came to her rescue and offer to undergo ten lifetimes of tribulations with her out of love and I think also to redeem himself because he was indirectly the cause of all the injustices the Heaven have done to her. If he did his duty and went to war, then none of the injustices will have happened to XJ. Which I think all of those suffering SF went through in these 10 lifetimes are his redemption.

I think it was because during her time in heaven she was made to impersonate the identity of the god of war by the White emperor, so she can go to war and win battles for him. It would have been normal that her past as the god of war is showing in the mirror, because she have been using this name/identity in the war. The mirror ONLY show some fragments of her past. I guess the Director and screenwriters did it on purpose to confuse us and make us wondering .

It was Luohou Jidu mind and soul that were split into MSX and the god of war which I suspect was an identity that belong to SF but the white emperor make her impersonate this identity. As for her power, don't forget LJ is a very powerful general from the demon maybe the most powerful being. The origin of her power came from her being half part of LJ and not from her identity as the god of war. I think that manipulative WE made some change to LJ power, so the demons won't recognized it. My guess is that during their time in Heaven, XJ was impersonating SF 's identity as the God of war when he was disguising himself as the Golden bird. And now, in their 10th lifetime, SF is impersonating her identity as MSX while she was impersonating his identity as the god of war. Those are only speculations, so let's see how everything is going to be revealed when more EP are release.

Unless she is not the real god of war. I have been doubting her identity as the god of war when it was revealed that SF is only pretending to be MSX. Since XJ is really MSX, it means SF real identity is the God of war. I think she can't be both god of war and MSX because from the first 15 minutes of EP1, it was clearly state that both MSX and the God of war are going to undergo their tribulation together and be born at the same time (year, month, day). And we know that SF and XJ are both Born at the same time, and one of them have to be MSX and the other, the God of war.
Haochen's character I dislike him when I was watching raw (with my limited knowledge of mandarin). Now watching with sub, I can't help but have a strong hate for him. He is shameless and disgusting with those nonsense that came out from his mouth.
