Aside from the romance, I'm here for the brotherhood and family dynamics of the 3 sons and their mom. Is this Mam Kathaleeya's first GMMTV series? I love her on In Family We Trust and One Year 365!!!!
How I wish they both watch episode 4 and 5 in Safe House. Too bad that this airs just once a week and they just have to stay for 7 days... I wonder how will they react with episode 5!!
I'm at episode 6 and I can't help comparing it with Hello Monster in terms of pacing/storytelling... It's good that this Thai adaptation want to retell the story in their own way, but I think they're cutting off too much scenes of the brothers' interaction. Tbh that subtle interaction scenes from the original kdrama made me connect with the longing that the younger brother feels. But in this version, I think they removed most of it to hide the younger brother's identity in contrast to the original, yet, I really think those scenes are significant in the development of the story. I just hope that they'll make up for it on the following episodes.
In this episode when Tanwa called Paytai to be Charas' lawyer, it feels like it came out of nowhere as both of them didn't had much interaction...
Another is that they already revealed the scene where the older brother fired a gun when he was young. Do they want us to suspect him as capable of killing someone to hide the true nature of the younger brother? I'm kind of at lost atm.
I agree. I can’t wait. It sucks that those who want to watch it on YouTube will have to wait til January :(
Really?? So it means it won't be available on youtube until they'll release it on television too? That sucks but I guess we have to enjoy Baker Boys and/or Bad Buddy for the meantime...
Currently at episode 3, and it's funny how they changed China (kdrama) to Philippines... didn't know we have Interpol here lol. And the accent when speaking english didn't sound Filipino at all. It's not bad but really find it hilarious along with the PNP logo HAHAHHAHA
Damn the S2 is chaotic! Some cast is annoying..... Why did grace sound so power-hungry in the ending? And Time…
I agree!!! Aside from the twins, even Pang didn't had a back story except for his messed up friendship with Nack. We saw and knew how other characters' values and motivations were formed unlike Pang, like, why does he have a strong sense of friendship and justice? Being a class 8 student lacks an impact for his back story tbh.
Finished episode 1 and first 5 minutes of episode 2... I really want to watch another drama of Lee Joon Gi because of his amazing performance on Flower of Evil, but I can't find the story interesting tbh... There are mixed reviews regarding this drama, so I'm quite reluctant at first to drop this or not. But the premise didn't triggered my curiosity, hence I'm dropping this... sorry...
That "funny" sound effects in episode 1 during the scene where Kang Bae's colleague was being harassed by their manager was the only flaw of this drama that I could think of.. It was repeated on another scene or two if I'm correct but all in all, I love this drama..
I remember discovering this drama after I already finished taking college entrance exams in 2017... and it sucks lol (the situation not the drama)
Master of Study is really worth watching, and if you're struggling with your studies, this drama will be perfect to lift your spirits up. For a 2010 drama, the overall rating of 7.5 is too low. I personally gave it a 9.5, but I think for mydramalist, it deserves an average of at least 8.0 or 8.5..
In the "Cast & Crew" page, why is Tay credited as Yuth, and Lee as Supot? Didn't Tay already said that he is the Supot, and he just made Yuth (Lee) believe that their identity was the other way around...?
my thoughts exactly while 2015, and 2017 are my favorite I'm hoping for a plotline that is focused on school life…
Seems like romance is synonymous with love triangle in kdrama 😅 well let's just hope that there won't be one this season.
2013 is my favorite among the franchise that was released in 2010s (haven't watched school 1-4). Even though Jang Nara's character was too idealistic, I really love how the story of different students highlighted different school issues.
I hope they'll give emphasis on school issues instead of romance just like School 2013.. Although 2015 and 2017 had a good story, I felt like "school" was just used as a setting rather than main genre.
The only downside for me is that I really want to see more of the brotherhood and family dynamics between Kang Ho and Soo Ho (and their mom). They introduced Soo Ho first so I thought he would be a main character, yet he had have not enough screentime. Yes we saw and knew his feelings, yet it wasn't deep enough compared to how Kang Ho's character was written. Same goes with their mother where I felt that her character development was a little bit rushed. Kang Ho and Soo Ho's interaction were also short. I know it's quite hard to film, but I think their brotherhood is the very core of the drama. I was hoping to see the progression of their relationship, and thought that it would've been one vital element they could use in the story. I wasn't looking for a cheesy/mainstream-type of bromance. Just something that shows the mending/development of their brotherhood. I really wanted to give a 10-star overall rating, yet I wasn't satisfied enough due to those reasons. They could've had added 2 more episodes just to show this and I wouldn't complain.

Romance (between the endgame) = '97 > '94 & '88
