Started off promising but plot line got boring halfway

This drama started off very interesting from ep 1-7. I really liked Rena’s psychopathic acting and creepy ‘normal’ smile. I think her character’s acting was the best in the drama but fell off in ep 8 and so on. I wish the drama could’ve implemented an in-depth development of her psychopathic character.. Like did she always need to use a pair of scissors to become threatening towards the main characters? Like they could’ve expanded more on her abilities because of her psyche. Her dad was a joke. He’s a psychiatrist but couldn’t go against Rena enabling her psychopathic tendencies. SMH lol
I feel like Sachiko’s acting was lacking and bland. She didn’t offer a variety of facial expressions. Sachiko’s initial revenge plan was thought-out and her determination to ruin Rena was there but sort of lost impact when she couldn’t eliminate Rena’s baby. Plus her emotional feelings towards Makoto definitely affected her plans.
After that, the plot line seemed to fall apart and lost its momentum making the ending not satisfactory for me personally. My perfect ending would’ve been that Makoto still died as collateral but Rena also dying in some way making Sachiko’s revenge feel complete. They gave Rena too much grace of depicting her still being human which just contradicts her psychopathic-muderous life and then having her end up in jail when she should’ve suffered way more.

BUT if I could change the plot line, I would’ve made Makoto’s character low-key messed up too since he knew that Rena killed his mom for him. Like it would’ve been a nice plot twist if he also had some psychopathic tendencies making him and Rena perfect for each other. Thus creating more determination for Sachiko’s revenge.

*definitely would not recommend others to watch-waste of time
