This made me a lil bit depressed and feeling very empty inside. Crazy thing is I turned 30 years old this year too. So I am the same age as Go Young at the end of ep 8. This hits very hard to home. The drama is very realistic, no sugar coating or fantasies. Sometimes life gives you lemons and it is hard to make lemonade out of it. My father got cancer in 2020, time of corona. It has been 4 tough years since then. I thought I would be married before my thirties but here I am single as fk. Not happy with my job or life in general. But still, we got to move on, deal with our emotions and make the best out of life. My younger sister got married at 24, has two kids, a loving husband and a nice life. Sometimes I wonder why my life went this way, why it feels so empty and lonely for me. I can relate to Go Young as a woman. For some of us life is tough and doesn't go the way we want unfortunately.
I love Shin Min Ah, great actress. But I have trouble starting on this because I am not a fan of the male lead KYD. I don't like his other dramas except for Penthouse. Anyone else who had the same problem but gave it a go anyways?
I find that Kdramas have been very underwhelming lately and I am having trouble getting into them. Any recommendations for a good drama? Can be from any country
I just can't get over how damn sexy Chen Zhehuan is in this! I have always thought him good looking with amazing…
He looks perfect in Hidden Love! But it seems he lost quite a lot of weight judging from the press conferences. I feel like he gained some weight for this drama to look a little bit older. Now he looks as thin as in his previous works. He should gain the weight back because he looks amazing as DJX.
At this point I feel like I am in love with Duan Jiaxu too lmao
I respect Sang Zhi for staying kinda calm and collective after his confession. If it was me I would have screamed my lungs out and cried in his arms. You have been wooing me for several years already lets get it on 😂
So, I usually don't do Cdramas because they are just not for me. I usually don't like their vibe, jokes, cinematography and the dubbing gives me a headache. So I gave up on trying Cdramas years ago. This is the first one in a couple of years that I actually like, LIKE A LOT. Everything is just in the right place.. it is not awkward, the pacing is good, the dialogues are good, nice cinematography, good chemistry between the leads.
This is the best airing drama for me right now! Also, one of the nicest male leads I have ever seen. He has a lovely and good personality.
I loved this show so so much. Part of me secretly wants a season 2 because as this is just the beginning of their relationship as boyfriends there is so much more to tell. I would love to see their journey in a second season if done right.
I still can't believe how they got the perfect Jihyun in Juntaek. The director happened to be at the right place at the right time. That's what you call fate. And such a good performance for his first time acting in general. I have seen enough BLs to know what I am talking about. Im Jisub did amazing as well! He is really expressive with his eyes and he is one sexy motherfr ;). Sorry I let my guard down for one sec lol. The cast in general did a very good job! I wanted to beat up both Eunji and Taehyung which means the actors did an excellent job. And I loved Ae Ri, Yoon Won and Ji Hyuns boss. They are the kind of people I love to have in my life! :)
I wish I could erase this from my memory and binge watch this all over again! I hope the directors will surprise us with their new work in the future too. I can't wait to see all of their work. For me it is a 9.5 out of 10. The editing in some Thai BLs is a disaster so I didn't mind the sloppy editing as much as some others. Great Kbl! I am adding this to my top tier list of BLs :)
You can say what you want but these motherfs at Mnet know how to make a decent show and they actually have a lot of real talented trainees. The evil editing is annoying but still miles better than the horrible editing in FB. I am officially dropping this and I wish the trainees all the best. I don't have high hopes for this group in succeeding and I am worried for these youngsters. Still, I hope they prove me otherwise!
It is kinda weird to say but Jihyun had a major glow up after the incident. He is more confident, looks way more handsome, wears better fitting clothes and just has an overall positive vibe going on. Jaewon on the other hand looks like his soul left his body. His therapist is shit and the way he is handling and coping with his trauma is making things worse for him mentally. I hope they both find the happiness they deserve as fast as possible in ep 9 so we can enjoy their fluffy moments together.
Can anyone tell me what the ranking is? Please tell me YaYa is kicked off already because I have seen some clips on Youtube and it is embarassing to say the least he ranked 4th last episode. He can't sing or dance.
OK... after finishing ep 6 I am actually REALLY CONFUSED. I felt like the last 15 minutes were very rushed and somehow didn't make sense for me. It felt very unreal. So after my confusion I did some thinking. Could it be possible that Jaewon and Jihyuns trip to the beach is Jaewons dream/imagination? Is what happened at the beach his worst nightmare. Did his little brother drown at the beach and now his trauma causes him to think the same will happen to Jihyun? Is that why Jaewon is afraid to deepen his relationship with Jihyun? Is what we saw the reason he will part ways with Jihyun because he is afraid to lose him in an accident? Is it all fear and trauma playing tricks on his mind and us? That would mean he never called Jihyun and went alone to the beach. He just imagined Jihyun by his side and that's why we got two shots at the end. One of them sitting together (imagination) and one of Jaewon alone (THE REAL ONE).
Or am I all wrong and did this trip and accident actually happen? Very rushed and confusing. Idk anymore.
Yes, I already know that. But if I heard it correct he said he has seen SKAM too in the recent Insta live. I am not 100% sure but I thought I heard him saying that. I have to say my Korean is not that good so I could be wrong ;)

- Juntaek was streetcasted by Inu Baek.
- Juntaek watched SKAM to prepare for his role.
This week went by faster than the week before. I can't believe we will be getting new eps tomorrow already!
