I liked it.. Very funny & entertaining... No stupid virginal characters in sight. LOL The cast is just PERFECT. On the other hand, despite the "Sexual Content" Tag, there's actually more talking about sex than sex itself in this one. And the ending is kinda lame. But, there's one prequel and 3 sequels still waiting;)
For those who don't know...South Korea still has a suicide problem. WHO reported that more than 700,000 people…
I would understand North Korea, but South Korea? If they are democratic and developed country, they should be ashamed and concerned themselves. Without anyone from the outside pointing that out. They should be looking what needs to be changed, on their own.
On epi 4.. I'm sorry, but isn't the dead boy a bit much? (I mean the character.. I just found out about one of the actors.) Makes Ma Hwi Young character real evil. Like he should become a politician in the future or smth. Either way, these boys should have switched roles. It's Ong Seong Wu who'd look more convincing as the bad guy. Shin Seung Ho would be more convincing as the good guy.
On epi 10.. The grave themes were put aside to more romance. Ma Hwi Young is shown to have his own suffering (but just as the previous grave themes, this is not fully adressed and it's in disharmony with the romance fluff). Choi Jun Woo softens up. Kang Ki Young is the best actor in this. But, the only consistent character is the main girl. The main girl is the main asset of a drama like this which is really surprising. Rarely we can see female lead likeable this much.
I don't honestly ship her with either of the boys, though. For all I care, she could change class (this is a rare "school drama" in which we actually spend a lot of screentime in class, LOL) and be surrounded with completely different people (perhaps Kang Ki Young's teacher could stay) and I would still watch her whichever story.
Okay, now I just finished it. I sure liked the airport-drama side of it and both the secondary couples of just ordinary humans. I'm sorry, but thumps down for the main couple. While I do cheer for Chae Soo Bin, who got well noticed by producers in 'Sassy Go Go' and deservedly got main role, as for her 10 years older partner in this, I definitely preferred him crying over unsolved murders through time-travel radio, than being/not being wheelchaired. The main girl might as well tried dating her friend Eun Seob, for all I cared. The added fantasy melodrama actually made the drama less good, not better. Less is more, I say it always. But drama writers never say this to themselves. The "ordinary" airport dramatic situations were handled well and the airport people all were interesting characters (except the main couple). It all had good standard until we had to solve the supernatural problem. Then it dropped.
This is not what I expected it to be.. Cast is weak, not exactly an eye candy, instead of romance there's lot of "comedy" that is not really funny, and it all gives an air of a street amateur theatre. I'm on episode 1 and have already put it on hold three times.
Okay, 1st episode introduces a trio of main guys, who then walk in front of the camera in slow motion. And I don't like any of the 3? This never happened to me before while watching HIStory!
Seriously, 1st episode starts with yet one more of Sugino Yosuke's weird tackles directly into the camera, weird kiss with Nakamura Yurika that we cannot enjoy, and "hot" scene which is not hot, after all. Sugino Yosuke still looks good shirtless, but it's just as self serving as in s01e01. Plus, they dyed his hair more of a orange shade, this time.
I see no improvement, if each episode has the same weird "acting" and just something over 20 mintes, again. I'm not staying for 4 more of them.
This show's main problem is Guy Sivakorn is WAY more attractive than Lee Thanat.. I would aim my "Endless Love" elswhere LOL It's also rather annoying with the main guy being a charity case.. OVERALL did not pique any interest
Out of this list of 8, I skipped 2 of them (supernatural), dropped 1 of them (SUPER boring), rated 2 of them well, rated 1 of them 10. I also dropped the last one of them as unwatchable, and wondered if this is the way HIStory has progressed, then perhaps it would be better if it ended. When I found out next time it will be a Sci-Fi, it seems I am right. I'll pass.
But, that's Japan. You find the best dramas. You also find stuff... like this. LOL
The cast is just PERFECT.

There's like whole episode runtime dedicated to housework, LOL

Just looking at the "actor" portraying Bohn - his earrings, his bracelet, his OBVIOUSLY dyed hair - all makes me cringe.
