On episode 5... How come the girl kisses better with the gay brother? LOL It reminds me of Harry Potter when Hermione looked way more convincing in Deathly Hallows kissing Harry as an illusion of a Slytherin's locket than when she finally kissed Ron LOL
Reading the synopsis: Well, it's really no wonder the housewife cannot forget the teacher, if he looks like Saitoh Takumi! LOL. I do wish to watch many steamy bedscenes, but I guess we'll get a lot of moralizing instead, as usual. Call me unmoral but for people who are in marriage for long years way past romance stage, it happens organically to encounter some love affairs, like the most natural part of life, seamless in fitting in, even functional.
Great! Main couple is kissing after first 30 minutes of screentime, LOL. And they continue to do real kiss each episode. But! That's the only improvement. Everyone and everything that surrounds them in this lakorn is as annoying and stupid as ever. NOT good for 2021. It all looks like yet another remake of 1991 lakorn, even if it's not the case (the veteran actors must be SO tired by now, LOL). I am skipping through this like crazy while on first episodes WITH the slap/kiss.. That's great improvement like I said, there would be no kissing like that in 1991:) Then again, it's not really that exciting when I don't care about the characters, and even the cast (Film is handsome but kees wearing stupid quiff with ton of hairproduct, and Esther just looks weird in this). After the few first episodes the slap/kiss will stop (according to all the comments and reviews) so I am going to drop this because all the rest of it is COMPLETELY unwatchable. EDiT: Seriously, people, EPISODE 5 is full of it. Like, full of it! It's fun. And it's funny. My goodness, why did thai lakorns never have scenes like this in before? I watched like 400 of them. This is what I wanted. Pitty it's too little too late LOL. Anyways, I intended to drop this after episode 6, because my patience with the side cr*p has long overfilled. Unless, anyone can give me exact episode number when these kind of scenes return, if ever? EDiT: After watching episode 7, I dropped this. Not really interested in the whole "investigation".
can anyone spoil for me please?when they get together?and there some kisses or not?
Well, there's one kiss right in the 1st episode, and you can simply look at one of the pictures right here in the gallery to see how "hot" it is: https://kisskh.at/photos/dK2Dd_3 I don't knnow when they get together, yet.. I'm still on episode 2 and there's no guarantee I won't drop this.
I also have problem with the cast. Mook Worranit is the type who looks like she can hardly count to ten.. I just don't believe her that efficient in office work. She looks super awkward with her hands placed on a keyboard. Another thing is I find her looks attractive to a point, but not so much that Luke Ishikawa should be obsessed with her. Either way I find being hit on by your BOSS at work rather creepy.
On epi 2.. This is so wrong, how she just signs the contract. I would hask for a hell of a pay rise, and some crazy benefits, or I would not sign. Let's see how much he wants her to work for him:) Or I WOULD walk. It's clear he'll make her worklife "hell":-D
Final episode.. Seriously, why is Mayako this extremely unlucky? LOL She is very pretty, she is also very nice a person, I think even the fact that she has some sexual needs makes her more likeable and relatable character. Had she been given a nicer (or at least normal), even a mediocre partner (speaking of Kudou) with no problematic relatives, normal friends, there would be no drama to begin with. She looks shallow at the beginning, but she actually endures a lot.
And so I was glad for her "happy" ending (I had to smile seeing the "new" marriage she ended up in), even if every single psycho character had to reverse to normal in the last minutes, for that to happen. She never did find the ideal husband material but she did find the ideal lover material in Nomura:) We all don't have everything in life.
DROPPED at 3/6. Is it worth watching to the end? Nope, but it IS entertaining in a weirdo way.
LOL at their first "date".. It's not such a "miracle" to turn the ugly duckling, if the girl is already beautiful and has perfect figure.. Just had to laugh when he was in such an awe seeing her wearing totally aunty dress with FLORAL print all over. Imagine you have a date with your guy and the guy stops by at your place and does your hair and make-up first. Uggh... LMAO
You know, just don't judge all j-drama based on this one (okay, do judge some of those in "Recommendations", like 'Coffee & Vanilla'), it's obvious they all come from mangas and any silly 18-year old virgin can produce manga these days: after all, the main heroine of this drama is the example LOL (when you read 1st sentence of the synopsis it sounds like she's old but she is 18).
For Joss Sangngern, I'm willing to try even a lakorn with idiotic theme (read the Tags) as this: he's worth it. I thought I won't be able to withstand BOTH Oliver Poupart (he was never good actor while young, PLUS now he's old) AND bratty "actress" Fah Yongwaree.. But, I have to give it to her, in one thing. Unlike many other actresses before her, like 40-year old Nune Woranuch "starring" in previous lakorn with Joss, she did a real kiss with Joss. As soon as episode 3, he kissed her and BIT her, LOL! Epi 9/22 looked like they were already running out of ideas how he can forbibly drag her, hug her and kiss her, so I was getting bored, lol. The worst is, I can't "Watch it for Wee", as the top review says. The aged Nat Myria Benedetti and her stupid crime line IS what is dragging this show down. It could be enjoyable actually, with the night club setting. Thai shall never learn. When will they understand that good relationships drama is ENOUGH without all the corny cr*p.. When I reached episode 13, I no longer cared for the plot, I have seen enough kiss scenes & did not care about whatever happens to the couple so I peacefully DROPPED the show, not caring for watching this ten more times. As a lakorn, I rate it BELOW average for having the crime themes.
Lighthearted, slice of life drama. I watched this for KJY. But I like RHY as well from Reply1988.
A bit too "slice of life", maybe?? What I watched so far, I am kind of hesitating whether I should even call this "a drama"... At first, it looks like we'll see the main heroine at her work too, but she soon resignes and we're just concentrating on her home. There is 12 episodes of runtime... dedicated to housework?? Just how many more things is the girl going to repair in her tiny place? It's not even her place. The landlady is harsh. Maybe, let HER take care of such matters? The "romance", too. Girl of average looks has a goodlooking male "best friend", who is NOT gay and any time she calls, comes running? (And helps her with the housework, of course:/) I don't know what was the purpose of this (there are SERIOUS "home improvement" tips at the end of each episode) but it's still (too) well rated considering this is neither a romance, nor a drama.
At episode 5.. Seriously, what is this? LOL Both the husbands are psycho, the mother in law is psycho, the female "best friend" is psycho, the lover was getting almost psycho (he then got replaced by the title one.. but by that time, the sexy mood kinda no longer works:) The only likeable characters are both the cheating viwes? LOL
I admired her beauty, voice and her way of speaking when she was only 16-17 in Itazura Na Kiss. Now I'm watching her in different drama where she was an adult already, for the first time. It's from 2019, she was 22 there, it's support role so she doesn't have much screen time. And I'm way more interested to see this actress again, than in her support character;-)

I read that word in EVERY review on EVERY drama.

Hmm... I think I'll go rewatch that one, instead of finishing this one;-)
