Im sorry but theyve tainted Luo Mei imo. Her HE shouldve been being a general and preserving her family legacy but instead she becomes love sick and ruins all her hard work. I still dont understand how she was so in love with the CP after all she knew he did, she even seemed suspicious of him at some parts.

Yes it has a good mix of romance, angst, mystery, and slice of life. Id also recommend Dream of Splendor. Both are great intros to Historical dramas imo

On ep. 2 and I was kinda interested in the relationship between the assistant and ML doctor friend until she started acting like a 12 year old girl and taking pictures of him changing to blackmail him. Im like she should know better than most that he can sue her if he wants.

Sanha story is way sadder in this version than the Chinese one. Still tryna figure out what theyre doing with HaeJuns mom. In the Chinese version when we finally see her again she seemed more remourseful and embarrassed about leaving him behind. In this one she seems kinda standoffish.

I prefer love triangles like this. Where its obvious that the 3rd party is used as a plot device. Since her time in the US involved him I figured he would return. He seemed annoying at first but when I realized FL had zero interest in him I relaxed🤣

Did you watch the same thing I watched? They already explained that he was helping the girl with her contacts. The FL was just extremely depressed and it weighed down their relationship so they broke up. Months went by b4 they even got together and we dont know how much time elapsed after her and her ex broke up b4 returning to Korea
