Him and Tan Song Yu have amazing chemistry in this. On episode 20 and there are sparks of romance now. Its still been a good drama without it to. When watching you realize its as if the emperor is training her to be the future empress without her knowledge🤣

Im hoping he is hiding the fact that he is a single dad because I love him and Lili🤣

Im hoping he just has a kid. I know he is secretly helping the ML. But yeah I love him and LiLi together. Im honestly not a big fan of SZZ🤣

Thats what Im hoping for because I love him and Lili together. Part of me doubts that he is a scummy guy because ML trusts him so much but then again maybe they could be great friends and he is a womanizer🤣

I pray that Yi Xiao big secret is that he has a daughter and is a single dad or something because I love him and LiLi together.

Yeah I figured that from the start that him and Qin had more of a sibling/bff love for eachother but he was too stubborn to admit it.

Im on ep.9. Please tell me the ML has another potential female suitor other than the Qin girl. At this point this might as well be a romantic drama for FL and 2ndML. Every scene she gives him googly eyes like she is in love and is constantly showing her affection for him even when she knows the type of person he is.

Im only on ep.4🤣 First off people need to put up a spoiler tag second off Im glad they had that discussion at the end of ep. 3 because I thought they would never talk about what happened the night they died.

Im only on ep. 2 right now but from the beginning Ive felt like the ML was on the good side of things while the FL seemed to be manipulated by the bad side. Everything she said seemed off. While the King and ML talked about how the nation belonged to the people and how the consorts son should be CP she talked about how the nobles would help the world and how the Queens son should be CP because of his status even though the ML described him as cruel.

Only halfway done with ep.1 and based on what Ive seen I feel like ML and his allies are the good guys while the FL and her allies were more so on the bad side. Seems like the FL and the nobles are trying to control the court.

Yeah I think he just wanted her to depend on him more. When he saw how independent she was he realized that he isnt what she needed.

He is a good guy they just broke up because he knew that they were headed in different directions he wanted a more grounded life and knew that for her to achieve what she wanted a grounded life wasnt possible.

I trust him more. I feel like their big issue is going to be her having trouble accepting his love based on how her mom seems to have raised her to be independent. Him and ML seem to be best friends but then again Im always weary about guys who wear glasses in chinese dramas🤣

My main concern right now is LiLi and Yi Xiao. Unlike ML he is always trying to help but she doesnt seem to like it. Im nervous because I have a suspicion that she will break up with him and maybe even end up having a one night stand with someone and he'll find out.

Im guessing since Mr. Lu would technically be in HT's dads generational line he wants to be called uncle.

Saw the end credits and the friend marries the ex bf and all the friends are there cheering.
