Ive seen him in 2 historical dramas as a secondary lead and both of his stories overahadowed the leads imo. I read somewhere that he said he prefers sad endings but I think it was a joke because both of the historical dramas had happy endings for his character🤣
Absolutely loved this. The whole cast had excellent chemistry with eachother. The story was so engaging especially after the 2nd restart. My favorite drama of 2024
Shouldve been shorter tbh, decent show. Everyone had good chemistry, it just felt like the typical slice of life drama, which I feel like only need 20-24 episodes. 40 was way too much.
Took me 4 years but I finally watched this. It was enjoyable. I did alot of skipping. I prefered Hua Wuque's story a bit more than Xia Yaos. There was also way too much filter. This couldve been 30 ep. and been fine. Overall 8/10
Xu Yans story would be perfect if his love interest wasnt so annoying, childish, and borderline stalkerish. The scene with him and his MIL moving his wives stuff and her telling him he cant take any of her stuff with him and urging him to move on almost had me in tears.
Probably the one of few dramas in recent times which justified the title in present era........and also I literally…
Its never really a love triangle or anything. Its just that the ML fell for her b4 finding out she had a crush on the best friend. Its dealing with that awkwardness that comes with it. The best friend was actually in love with the FL best friend. FL pretty much stops liking him b4 ep 10. By ep. By like ep.11 or 12 everything is out in the open and they go from there but they didnt linger on anything except for FL because even though she stopped liking him with it out in the open she felt like it affected her friendship with her best friend and ML best friend but that doesnt even last long.
