I’m on ep. 23 and I love dramas like this. Only gripe I have is with the 2nd couple. I hate it when it’s so obvious that they like someone but never initiate anything. It’s been for most of the show where he won’t admit his feelings and it’s getting tiring now but I can’t look away because whenever he shows a little affection it’s so sweet?

Li Yan and Yangjin were the only 2 I had an issue with. They were just there imo. Their arc could’ve been given to Yin Pei as some sort of redemption arc .

Loved it but there was no need for the female cousin and the guy with the sword/spear. They added nothing to the story. I would’ve preferred them spending more time on Xie Yun’s backstory. A lot of wasted plots on stuff that didn’t matter.

No misunderstandings but the waste time on pointless plots. For the most part you can skip most of the side characters arcs and still understand what’s going on.
