Red is mainly used for weddings, but it can also be a simple robe. For me, there're four reasons why they are using them. First I think is some symbolism to represent the deep bond between them (hence the same color, actually if you check the scenes after they came back to the Heaven realm, you'll see they usually wear matching clothes). Second, since both of them died in this scene, it's something to represent that they always are going to be together. Third, red is the color of life in China, so that may be a hint that one day they're going back to life. Four, since this is the color of marriage where "Death does apart two lovers", they also want to show that death doesn't make them apart by disappearing together with this particular color.

Guys, I want to point out that Ying Yuan didn't sacrifice himself because he couldn't control himself. I'm sure he would've made it through with some cultivation, effort, and YD and YM's company.
He sacrificed because the barrier between the realms created by RQ was broken, which exposed the immortals' and mortals' lives.
While our trio and all the immortals from the Heaven Realm would be trying to eliminate the awakened asura warriors and many other spirits, and demons, many lives, especially from the mortal realm, would be lost. So Ying Yuan as the Supreme Majesty and the person who has always cared for all beings, gave up his life to do a double kill, eliminating the Azura warriors and creating a barrier between the realms to keep the bad spirits in check. Anyway, our boy is a hero.

I was thinking the same, but Yan Dan was pretty naive at that time and thought that one should have their loved one to their own. She said it herself in one episode, that's why I was so proud of her, when she understood the real meaning of love.

Actually, same. I didn't find any arc dragging at all, and I super enjoyed mortal realm too, the interactions were hilarious and it felt like an amazing and fun adventure. Drama wise is true that they extended the mortal realm more than they should but I didn't really mind. Lamp girl wasn't really that much annoying for me either, everything she did in the mortal realm just made TZ and YD closer.

Tbh, her rejections don't last as long as one would expect. I just remembered something, the reiterations are actually connected with the title, Samsara is the cycle of life, suffering, death, and rebirth.

I know we all are excited, heartbroken, and overall pretty shocked with the supposed "ending" but please add spoiler tags to your comments, so other viewers who don't like spoilers can come freely to this comment section.

If you actually go to check the 6 last episodes, you'll see that the "ending" is actually really good. But I understand most of viewers do not like SE

I saw some screenshots that showed that the Youku Chinese app has episodes up to 61 (the last two ones are hidden though). I hope we're getting two episodes, but I'm fine with one or even with a 15 min short
