About the blood-spitting scenes, I just can say is way less than LaR and that both of them spit blood. There are no stupid misunderstandings between them. It's more serious and complex when it comes to them, they need to find the middle ground between their love, their personalities and somehow upbringing, and the responsibilities of ML and hence the well-being of all the beings. All of these factors make them being together a hard task, one sacrifices openly for the other while the other does it secretly, so in the process, they ended up being really hurt. Anyway, I find their relationship pretty mature, complex, and endearing but prepare the tissues though! About them killing each other, not really, but I don't wanna give major spoilers (.づ◡﹏◡)づ.
