I haven't actually watched that drama, I really have to take the time to watch Eternal Love. I don't know if it's weird but this is the xianxia drama more angst-balanced I've ever watched, it may be due to me watching this while airing instead of binge-watching as I've done with other xianxia dramas or maybe it's because of the misunderstandings between the leads don't really make them hate each other or separate for too long, everything they've gone through and all the time they've spent together just makes what they already have very precious. But I'm very excited because my favorite pair is getting officially together (or at least, I hope so) Have you watched Love and Redemption? In TZ's situation, there was no way for him to get the artifacts on time and also find YY's artifact (Dizhi), so the only option for him to live and ofc for YY's awakening was him dying from a mortal reason (stab in the heart). If YD didn't stab him, he would die from a celestial vest burst, and then completely disappear
