That's a good question, I was also wondering why does she have her name. I think neither of them have memories though, maybe some familiar and romantic feeling. I remember that in one trailer TZ said he always dreams of a girl's back, and ofc it gotta be YD.

So YY knew all along it was her, but since she doesn't want to admit it, and YY wants to protect her, he will acknowledge YD's sister as her savior and not her. After that, since he came back, it's also time for YD to go to the human realm and go through suffering and hardships on her sister's behalf (how ironic is that after ZX betrayed her like that), she will bid goodbye to him and jump off the mountain as it was shown in the first episode. However, YY is so reluctant to let her go, and while she's falling, YY also jumps off of the mountain to accompany her, and that's how I think we will get introduced to demon hunter Tang Zhou, and the demon Yan Dan.

As the person above said, YD is super different from Jimin and other Yang Zi's characters. I'm gonna leave you a fragment of a comment I wrote: YD is everything I can ask for in a female lead, she's funny, a drama queen, and crazy, but she's also brave, understanding, and solemn when needed.

Absolutely, from what I've seen from the shorts YD is going to have it as bad or as worse than him. I liked that a lot, because at least in the most part of xianxia/costumes dramas that I've watched ML is the one to suffer the most

Thoughts about today's episodes:
YD is everything I can ask for in a female lead, she's funny and crazy, but she's brave, understanding, and solemn when needed. I love how she already treasures YY so much, how worried and willing she is to support him in a tough time. The scene where she found YY left alone and witnessed how wounded, and heartbroken he is, and even worse when she notices that he can't see, it's so heartbreaking to watch. What happened to him? He was supposed to be fine...
YY is so pitiful, bidding goodbye to his closest friends, continually saying to himself that he's a sinner and everything is his fault. Our little emperor is really carrying a painful weight in his arms, just wishing YD and all the realms to be safe.
CY's and YZ's performances have been extremely compelling to me, their body language and especially their eyes, just wow.
Another thing to say is that I'm super sad we're just getting one episode tomorrow like not even two is enough.

Actually, it might be true. I didn't trust him, and I still don't. I saw some stills released recently where he's wearing red clothes, so he definitely will be back. I don't know if it might be as an enemy though, that demon lord doesn't look like a bad person and we don't know enough yet about the Genesis War, there's so much stuff off. Who knows? Maybe the actual bad guy is that celestial emperor, and the Asura clan actually didn't commit any crime...
