I read somewhere that the ML faked his death, do you think that's possible? I haven't watched that drama since I'm not a super fan of the FL, but when I watch CY's upcoming modern drama with her, I was thinking about giving it a try.

OMG, same, I was like what are you waiting for COME OUT. I'm a drama queen, so I love to join their pain with my ugly and dramatic crying.

If YY confessed to her, YD would never leave him or even try to do so. Now that he has left to somehow protect her, she's still not able to forget even when he clearly rejected her, just imagine what would have she done if he would've told her his feelings? Besides, YD just shattered her soul, and she just has one way out to continue living and that way is to forget him.
YD was so heartbroken, and whether we like it or not the bond with her sister was one of over five hundred years, and as YD said her good deeds canceled her bad ones and the love she held for her sister was deep and pure. But the situation between these two is different, YD doesn't understand why YY is doing what he's doing, she doesn't know that everything he's doing is for her, she doesn't know he loves her and rather thinks he hates and despises her, so girl just was extremely desperate for an answer she deserves, ofc it was no the place to ask, but I guess the pain just got that from her. And after losing half of her heart, getting struck by thunders, being betrayed by her own sister, feeling betrayed by her lover, getting accused of something she didn't do, and not getting the support she was expecting, at least I cannot blame her.

I know this is gonna sound weird but this was such an impressive and good angst, it was executed so well. I felt the tears coming to my eyes, but they didn't fall, however, my body is kind of weird, so I've been having heart palpitations since I ended today's episodes, literally writing this while having them lol. I'll gather my thoughts later, at the moment, I just want to remember YD's words one more time "He told me he had to put the world on his back. His heart had no place for anything else. Back then, I didn't understand what he meant, but I do now" but to her surprise, YY has always had her carved deep inside his heart and mind.
Also, it just hurts me that for episode 17, they've already missed each other for nine hundred years, and it's just the beginning...

I'm kind of glad though, I absolutely thought that white haired YD was going to be shown at the end of the drama, and some hearbreaking stuff like she would have X amout of years to live.

I didn't cry either, but I did felt the tears trying to come out, my pulse is just very fast, and also appearing in parts of my body where I usually don't feel it , feel a little overwhelmed , and so on.... Maybe, I also got used to the angst.

I'm here in class just waiting to get out to see today's episodes T_T

What stats? They've been basically at the top since this came out

At least, in the charts I'm following they're usually at least in the top 3 shows and characters, how's that bad? And in the latest one, they even surpassed LLTG, which was on top for weeks, stats of LLTG are really good, if IS surpasses them, it indicates they're doing really well too. In the characters charts YY, YD, CSS, and LBY are sharing the 4 top places, and YY and YD are switching the first place. So if this drama is famous, it's all thanks to both stars not just CY like you were saying, I don't understand what is the need to banish YZ like that.

Ying Deng doesn't care about the heaven'slaws, neither she cares/loves YY, as I understood on the latest episodes she wants to conquer YY's heart, so she can pass of being an artifact to being an immortal.

I was thinking the same hahahhaha, especially about the romantic arc

Tbh, I think all the arcs are gonna hurt xd. Probably, the last one will hurt the most.

Absolutely, when YD turned her back and bitterly told YY to go take care of ZX and then YY extended his hand to comfort her and then stopped T_T and asked "Then tell me, what do you want?" with his eyes full of pain was heartwrenching.

And also Friend zone him in other go hahahha

I loved this comment, you just put into words exactly what I saw and felt when their eyes met at that scene

You forgot one unbroken heart in the ending, we shall not lose hope
