Li Shiqing's major is education.Only the passengers who get off the bus enter the loop. In the whole play, only…
not only that, but its also impossible to get any of the other passengers off the bus. you could tell from one of the other scenarios where everyone was in a hurry to get to their destination and thus refused her advice.
hence, she explained that she chose him because in her heart attack scenario, she found that hes the only one willing to help her.
not only that. theres minimal amount of CG used. and the actor / actress are not well known. the girl was 18yrs old at time of the shooting - same age as the character she portrays to be. it really is a low budget drama.
for those with detective skills, it is a straight tell from 1st episode that the bus driver is a culprit in the explosion.
the bus driver is highly experienced with no record of traffic or rule violations. the detective also clearly indicated in ep 1 that all bus drivers are trained to not let the passenger off in the event of a crime like molestation - instead they should call the police first.
the logical explanation is that the driver knows all passengers will die, but he had pity for her because "you are just like my daughter". it should also be noted that the bus driver refused to let her off the bus in the scenario of her claiming heart attack. the only scenario in which she is allowed off the bus is when she claim shes been molested. this gives away the true motivation for the crime.
amazing story and amazing production. the acting was good too. unlike most other crime, mystery, thriller or romance dramas. this one does not rely on the typical gimmicks and really keeps you guessing till the end. even though you know "who did it", the mystery is still yet to be solved. story element is unique and well thought out.
the drama also does a great job a portraying all aspects of modern society. there are all kinds of characters, personalities, motivations and vices depicted. its quite logical that these combination of characters will end in a tragedy but thru careful thoughts and actions, tragedies can be averted.
final note: the story is based on 2 real life events in China. one that involves a bus exploding, the other a bus burning. both resulted in many deaths. one of the online comments at the time was "had there been a chance to reset, the tragedy could have been avoided. unfortunately in real life, there is no reset". the author heard the comment and decided to write a story of what if reset can happen.
bonus: the police record shows the date of birth of the main male and female characters in the story. those are actually the real birth dates of the actor and actress respectively.
just finished ep 36 and thus the entire series. overall, its watchable material. overall story is decent, some plot elements are weak, acting is mediocre, music mediocre. ending is OK.
this movie is barely worth the time. scripting is really bad. and everything else is mediocre. the character actions / decisions are poorly thought out. jumps all over the place.
the overarching story is actually decent but the plot details are childish and the acting is actually bad. 1. Hong Yi - he can't even look straight with his eyes. its so painful to watch him on screen. 2. Jun Qing - this underage minor is called the "God of War" with "veteran experience" on the battlefield? the kid barely reached puberty. 3. Mo Wan - this character is confusing to watch, flip floping from one scene to the next. granted part of this is due to plot, but still, as the lead role, she needs to up the performance another notch to make the char more credible.
honestly i think the supporting chars should have taken the main role. Su Luan and Bing Shan did a great job in their roles. they could have lead the cast.
that being said, background story is still pretty good and still worth the time. its just hard to believe the directors left such gaping holes in scripting and choice of actors.
good story, good acting and good scripting. music was bland and story gets a bit too long. well placed criticism of those in power without going too excessive about it. overall a solid package
I think the context was somewhat lost in translation, because the character Wei Lai has a great importance to…
i understand that Wei Lai is pronounced the same as future. so yes, the author is hinting that she accidentally killed her own future.
but i m still kinda confused about her exam answer and the filing cabinet. there seems to be some significance about her exam answer, which i dont think i properly understood.
What an absolute amazing movie. This is so brutal, raw, and at the same time bitter sweet and sad. I am in awe…
ya... those scars and bruises look so real. unlike a lotta superhero movies where injuries are exaggerated and blood looks so fake, heads and limbs fly everywhere... the cinematography here makes everything looked real and believable.
I liked all the episodes (only the episodes with LJDI), which I found a little strange. The rest (PERFECT). And…
the final few episodes were a bit stretched. those who are supposed to be powerful didnt really use their powers. those who are deceptive didn't really show their deception. etc etc. was kinda expecting some epic showdown that never really came.
the acting is good, cinematography is good, CGI good, the story is good. overall a solid package. music is decent as well.
the final few episodes are kinda meh. it really didnt do a good job wrapping up everything. the logic is weak and stretched. also the first 10 episodes or so are quite slow and boring.
Xuan Nu annoys the hell out of me. Every time something happens she always blames Bai Qian. Like girl, shut up.
ya... its a bit of stretched logic for her to evade death for so long, compared to how easily other characters get killed. thats a weakness in drama series that gets dragged past 40 episodes.
series that are more realistic like three kingdoms see a large amount of deaths but is able to introduce large amount of fresh blood as well to keep the story going - partly because those dramas are historically accurate as well.
i really hope they start making shorter series to make the story more logical or be prepared to kill of heroes earlier to prevent things going stale.

oh... if someone can explain to me what the ending scene about her exam answer is trying to say, let me know.
i don't even know what the climax was supposed to be, or if there was even one.
