I don't know why but I really like this series. Maybe I should say I've grown to like it. Yeah, yeah, yeah...it's not going to win any awards...regardless this is very watchable. I do like the music...kind of New Wave-ish.
This series did get an award from. It is lowest rating I ever gave a series. Really the worst. I'm so glad I trimmed my toe nails during the finale. The time wasn't a total waste.
I feel bad for the actors. I think they all have potential and did the best they could with a bad script and worse direction. I only thing that was good was Ana's parents.
Has to be this series will be a classic that is watched for many years to come if not for eternity. I was moved, engaged and totally with this series. Congratulations to the staff and the actors. It was awesome to see someone with mental health issues from a trauma appear as normal as anyone else. Also, to share their therapy experience is a break thru in my opinion. Done with grace compassion and integrity. The cast was probably the strongest I can think of. The leads (Im and Oh) were amazing, Yeong Woon and Jung (Boss) were the most excellent females. The roommate/childhood friend was amazing too. The music was top notch and was noticeably great many times. Cinematography, setting, pacing....The only thing is I'm wondering if Ep 10 was an add-on. I at frist thought the end of episode 9 would have been a more complete and dramatic ending. Awesome, experience and enlightening series. Again, congratulations to all involved.
No Heat. No chemistry. No authenticity. The worst BL couple ever and the worst BL 1st bed scene. I was LOL and screaming Ew, Ew,...when Park and Tin were in bed together. It was truly like a 13 year old in bed with an older adult. It was a very skeevy scene. I'm praying the finale has Park admit that he is just caring for Tin because he feels sorry for him. I'm disappointed with Kana and Pao. The overdose seemed forced and out of context. The fighting and the punching was dysfunctional and harming. The most interesting character in this series is Pai. Just hearing about Park dating a women and then dating Pai was the most interesting and exciting part of this series. Seems like a good plot for series. Screenwriter or not. For sure Run seems to be not comfortable and/or not some of his lines with Tin. TG only 1 episode left
Park and Tin are the worst BL couple...EVER! I really can see Run (Park) laughing at his own lines...his bubble would say:"I can't believe how awful cheesy this scene is!" You can see it on his face. Anyway, ...Best line is when Kana called Tin a Tea-cup puppy! LMAO Really I am pretending that Park and Tin are father and son to get thru this. To me it's less offensive that way! TG only 2 episodes left. I lowered my rating to a 5 based on the last episode.
I wanted to really like this series a lot. It had many positives but I could never get myself to say I like it or I love it. The good and bad reasons are below in other comments but my biggest beef is the cop-out hickey scene and the no kiss. Both are insulting to the audience.
But we saw them as kids - they can't be more than a couple of years apart in age.
"Official Synopsis: The lively and adorable Tin has had a life-long dream to marry the older boy in the neighborhood, Park. While the two of them have grown up together, ..." I know what your saying..whomever selected them (child Tin and Park) at casting made a bad selection.
I don't find Tin lively or adorable. The allure of a younger person with an older person is that their is a connection. An adult connection. There is not one ounce of chemistry or heat between Tin and Park. Park is more like a parental figure than a romantic possibility. That will be a big "Yuck" if it goes that way. 🤮 Anyway, usually successful younger and adult relationship stories the younger is more mature for their age, thus the relationship can have the necessary elements needed to make a relationship believable. OMG I will scream "NO" if Tin and Park ever kiss. Please tell me Tin winds up with Plearn.
This series is very strong. I hope it continues. I'm involved and engaged. I'm not in favor of 2 episodes a week unless they are less than 30 minutes each. Plus it ends too soon if the series is good. The soundtrack is awesome. Im Si Jub is killing it as Jae Won. 😍
This is my new favorite series. Cooper is wonderful. It has grown and grown on me! Let's keep this trend going for future episodes. I'm dreaming about where this story is going and I'm liking what I'm thinking!
I like this series. It's not too much and not too little. It's just quirky enough to be funny and interesting without going overboard. I decided to rewatch episodes on this series and not start any new ones. There are 2 out there that I watched the trailers and decided to pass. Keep going I like this series just how it is.
