I agree. This is why I said the 1st few episodes were confusing. They should have established a protocol of when we the audience sees one character and then the other. Regardless, it is a difficult task to accomplish in my opinion. Yes, the impact is not going to be there. Sad that budget is probably the reason for some or all of the decisions.

You have to admit the plot idea is genious but very difficult to place into a series filmatic artform. I think Eps 8 & 9 are great!
During Episode 1 I realized I completly loved the concept of this series. Then it didn't go as I thought it should and also got confused till about Episode 3. Since then, it has turned into the awesome series that that thought it could be with Episodes 8 and 9 being off the chart in my opinion. However, I still think this series could be so much more. Without giving up anything I am certainly wondering how this is going to end. I do love this series today and I understand that such a complicated plot can sometimes be difficult to put into film. Definitely underrated now. Should be at least a 9.0 in my opinion. PS I do ignore the blatant advertising within the story it is a bit much in this one.
Minus all of the psychosocial implications of the plot...I think this is very well done. Therefore maybe the implications will be handled well too. Let's hope. For sure I am intrgued and I am usually a happy BL fan only. Let's see where this goes.

I agree though I didn't read the novel. I had big issues with Mark's charcter in this series. Passive agressive and he just seemed pyscho somtimes. On the other hand, I really liked Vee with all of his flaws. Even in the series he was never undernhanded or deceptive. He was always up front. (Even when behaving badly) Thank-yu for sharing your persepective.
I'll agree that this show is underrated. MDL has it as a 7.6. I will rate this as an easy 8.5 to 9.0. I'll admit the series was a bit shacky in the early episodes but it for sure got better. The most obvious is the chemistry between the main couple. Seemed like Kim was just not as believable in portraying his feeling for Mek. Whereas Mek did a great job showing how his feelings for Kim developed evolved and where convincing believable and passionate. Congratulations to Fluk for his portrayal of Mek whom I despised at first and then learned to love him as he developed feelings for Kim. Also, Fluk really can change his appearance. He is really hot looking when his hair is not pulled back. I don't think Kim character did a bad job maybe it was directing him to be more restrained in his presentation. Kim did have his good moments for sure. I absolutely loved the secondary couples. For sure Bear and bomb are my favorites. Great BL series.

Vee went to defend his ex grilfriend from being physcially abused and beaten. Not a bad trait to me. Mark knew Vee was attacked beaten then taken to the hospital and ran away and cried becasue he saw Vee kissing Ploy. That's not a good trait to me. I admit Vee has flaws but I beleive he has a better personality than cry baby Mark.

My point about Vee is that I find him more likeable as a person minus his faults. Oh yes I dropped I Told You, then I picked up S2 cause of all the hype and dropped that too. LOL
I'm just done with Ep 8. This isn't the first BL Series where I'm disappointed that he main couple get's back together. I think Vee deserves much better than Mark . Vee is likeable even loveable with all his flaws and Mark is just an annoying cry baby drama queen. Does anyone know if the writers think we (the audience) are actually feeling sorry for Mark? Though I really like this series...Since the beginning I really liked the character of Vee. To me he is very genuine, likeable and human. He has flaws but he is still very likeable in my opinion. I have been struggling with the character of Mark. I'm sure the producers want me to feel sorry for Mark, but I don't. To me he seems selfish, weak willed, a wet dish towel and and a cry baby. He knew Vee was going to break up with Ploy, he knew he was attacked and wound up in the hospital and he wouldn't give him a chance to explain? Not cool. I'm really hoping Vee does find someone who loves him for who he is a not what someone wants him to be. Wow I really had to get that off of my chest (LOL)
I didn't think a reconciliation would work ...and it didn't...it was rough at best. hence I was in love with the Jeo Soon I'm happy that he seemed happy in the ending. I could have been ok with him holding out for a day or even a week before really reconciling. This season was not what I wanted it to be.
I've never been so impacted by a BL. I usually can blast BL's that are sad or tragic. But this one is walking the line pretty well. All in all this is very well done. I agree with a reviewer that states it's too late and Ji Woo is too far gone for a happy ending. For sure Woo Hyun as Sao Joon is doing a great job showing his pain, especially in Ep 8 during the Solution Filming part. I really felt it. Don't know what else to say but I feel like I need to say more........????
