Problem isn't that it's a very outdated and cliched drama but the length is. If you don't have a proper story , Don't drag it cover up your 16 episodes quota. If this show would have been made with 10 episodes. That would have been perfect. But now it totally draggs a lot.

Yup. For example , I really thought park seo joon will be a main lead of the upcoming Marvel movie but he was shown for only 2-3 seconds in the both trailers released so far. Maybe he'll play a greater role in the movie , Don't know 🤷🏻♂️
he's literally part of the main trio though? definitely feels like a main character to me and it even says so…
If you see, He is not a big part to the storyline and doesn't have much importance, it's only in the recent episodes where he got a good screen presence.
Script is really good but the characters writting is pretty average. To be honest I don't feel any deep connections with the characters. It's just their acting which is totally phenomenal. ✨
