Ok I see your point. I still doubt that he was trying to "save" her from a miserable life though. After all at least for her it mostly ended up decent up to the present. If he alters too much of the past he would more than likely lose all that he had gained after his release. He has a new family now including a daughter and she has her own family including her son. Unless he is willing to upend all of those new relationships I doubt unless it was something that involved life or death, he would try to change their past misery. He just doesn't come off as that kind of person.

Except they clearly arent the same mailbox since not only is the location different but the numbers on them are different as well. The mailbox in 1991 is clearly labelled with a 2 and the one in 2026 is labelled #3. That also begs to question why 2 and 3? What happened to 1?
Also I dont think seeing the mailbox triggered memories to "save" Hai Tang since she was alive until 2026. There was no need for saving. Unless they knew that she was somehow going to end up dead in 2026 I suppose.
Okay, I'm kind of confused and wondering if anyone is as well. So, Yu Zhi Hong from year 2026 is Tang Yi Xun from…
He does not look like he is in his 80s lol. At most he looks older than his expected age which makes sense considering the stressful life he has gone through and apparent dementia. Psychological issues affect physiology which affects appearance. If he looks a lot older than expected than one can only assume that he has not been living well.
Seems like there are at least 3 mailboxes. The 1991 one is #2 and 2026 is #3. There also seems to be another one with that gray haired old man by a ship doc in 2026 where the dad passed by which might just be another mailbox. Perhaps #1. Just wonder what the dad is doing there and how exactly he vanished and appeared somewhere else without anyone knowing. The gray haired old man is also quite clearly no regular mortal since he can physically travel through space-time.
This might be a wishful thinking but I hope the missing parents aren't the main leads cause it means they didn't…
Also the ML daughter might be adopted. A mom is mentioned but the dad is also mentioned to have died years ago in prison, implying the ML is using a stolen identity. Probably his gangster past caught up to him. It makes sense though. The ML was an orphan so he probably adopted one. Theres no further mention of her mom so we don't know if she ever had a relationship with her mom or she has only known her dad her entire life which is more than likely.

My guess is that the FL ended up marrying a rich man just as her dad wanted. Somewhere into the marriage as things settled and her economic situation became better, they divorced and she went on to follow her dreams somewhat or at least she got her own job as a teacher somehow.
Ep3 .. FL has good reputation at school, with her teacher too. Why couldnt she have confided what happened at…
The teacher hardly has any power. The adults are more than likely going to side with the parent. Its simply the time period. Society still very much patriarchal and corporal punishment very much accepted. It will be seen as a parent disciplining their child just as the dad explained to the cop and he simply accepted it.
He is wz's assistant at the demon markets and he is said to be her childhood friend.
Seems to foreshadow that he will be influenced by the red stone and be corrupted eventually. I mean theres already some indications that he isn't entirely stable either since he does do shady things behind Wu Zhen's back.
He is wz's assistant at the demon markets and he is said to be her childhood friend.
I doubt thats all there is to him. He seems to hold a higher position that we don't know of as per how some of the demon elders treat him in episode 4 as compared to their interaction with Wu Zhen. The dynamic between him and one of the elders in their convo seems to indicate that he is the elders superior. Its especially implied when he tells them that he dislikes people who oppose wu zhen and then the elder hesitates from further convo and appears a bit nervous. So I think there is more to him than we know of so far.
Could be. Or maybe its the Old Bug that is Yesha. Bc Feng's master is too goody-goody to make and use such horrible…
It could also be the other way around in which the soldiers were influenced by poison. Perhaps a hallucinogenic as well that made them see the villagers as monsters. Which implies an underlying scheme.
Could be. Or maybe its the Old Bug that is Yesha. Bc Feng's master is too goody-goody to make and use such horrible…
Hard to say. What if Old Bug wasn't wrong when he was referring to the master as a hypocrite? Also its still unknown why the army slaughtered Haiya village. Its unlikely that the emperor or whoever gave an official order to do so for no reason. What if something happened that forced the army's hand? There seems to be massive plot surrounding the use of poison. What if theres a poison out there that can make people go berserk and attack others like zombies? That could explain why the villagers got killed by the army. Perhaps someone was testing poison and that person might have been Fengs master for all we know.
But it is odd that he would need to request help from Old Bug to make poison if that was the case though. So after episode 17 Im doubtful of this as well.
It seems like Ye Sha rlly is more than 1 person though. Or at least its still unclear who is the True Head. There could be several sub-Heads that usually show themselves to other subordinates and give out orders but 1 true head that we havent seen yet.
Just finished episode 16 and the death of Coroner Feng's master sounds sus as fck. I am doubting that he is dead at all. Its even possible that the mastermind might somehow end up being his master in the end. The one behind the mask.
It looks like Tae Sik might be alive though. Pretty sure the guy limping and looking at the wanted posters of the group in episode 6 was Tae Sik. Looks like he will make a comeback. I just wonder what happened w/ the detective. I'm still doubting his death since it looked like he would be playing a more prominent role but just as things were going somewhere, the throw his character away by killing him? I dont think so.
I didn’t even mind Jung Hyeon shooting Seoksu because he doesn’t really know him. But Jung Hyeon setting the…
Idk about non-fatal points because the preview of the next ep seems to suggest that he's alrdy a pale corpse. The only recourse I see is him suddenly guilt tripping last minute after feeling a sliver of conscience and taking out the mother and himself.
So I am on episode 7 and I am beginning to think that the MC's master aka the FL's father might really be Ye Sha. Ye Sha ordered his subordinate to kill everyone except for the MC on the boat which could be due to their relationship. The entire boat meet up was planned by him as well and he clearly has a hx w/ everyone on that ship surrounding an old case. Not to mention, being the MC's master, he not only knows how the MC thinks but also has the skills to back it up and likely is on par w/ if not more so than the MC. His subordinates were the ones who shot the MC but the MC did not actually die which could mean that he was spared on purpose. The master might also want the MC to investigate said old case and reveal the truth (The master's position in the imperial court and relationship w/ the emperor perhaps makes it hard for him to do it himself). Thus, he spared the MC not only due to their relationship but also to put pressure on the MC and basically push him out of the political scene so he can investigate things in hiding and in secret. Its also possible that he might actually still be alive after all since the boat at the time was surrounded by his own men where someone there may be in on everything and possibly have saved him and helped fake his death. Or even, the one who died wasn't him at all since people can clearly use skin masks to fake identities. Due to the hecticness, no one checked to make sure. Of course there would still have to be one of his own men or himself hiding in the crowd to make sure no one discovers the truth in this scenario.
Haiya is a village, it's explained in ep 7. Someone massacred the village of haiya. Some say it was massacred…
I think he spares the ML so that the ML can investigate and reveal the truth of what happened to the village. The ML was made a scapegoat but at the same time he is now forced to investigate the cases and it will all lead back to the origin. The ML is being used because no one else dares to reveal the truths of the incident.
The lead actress is the biological one , the new one is the adopted one, since she she's quite smart and comes…
It would get suspicious though since all of them would be of different ages. Each AH would have different relations w/ different people and considering the mothers influence ppl will be paying attention to her and her family. Renaming your 2nd child w/ the same name as your 1st might be fine even though a little sus but if it keeps happening and her children keep disappearing then that would be mega sus. Plus its implied that AH #1 was very intelligent as well and was 1st place material, but did not like to compete w/ her friend. The mother implied that AH #1 was challenging her and purposefully getting 2nd place always just inches away from 1st, which might just be her paranoia or something but I dont think AH #1 was abandoned because of a defect in intelligence but most likely due to several factors that made the mother feel threatened or feel that she was becoming a liability to her plans. This kind of implies that AH #1 was actually very smart perhaps more so than AH #2. AH #1 also seems to perceive her surroundings much better than AH #2, at least in regards to her mother. But to the mother, actual tangible achievements are more meaningful that hidden wisdom/intellect. It doesn't matter to her even if AH #1 was 1st place material if she never actually showcases her abilities to others. It tarnishes the mothers reputation. And that in her eyes is a challenge against her. Not to mention, AH #1 pretty much witnessed her fathers murder by the mother. A comparison would be to equate the mother as "god" and AH#1 as the fallen angel "Lucifer" probably. At least in the context of the mothers god complex.
