Still.... it is the first time I actually love the drama more than novel

After they get certificate ZY says if it is called flash marriage and LX says: f*k off. It has been 10 years. in novel he was 6 years in prison and in drama 3 years. Poor LX was waiting for this moment even longer :D

it's the fourth time I'm rewatching this! I need a replacement where the FL is not a toddler in an adult body and ml is not a walking cliche and there is an actual plot like in here. any recommendation?

one thing I find funny is LX always holds back his voice and never expressed his waist pain in past or in front of his sister and others. but in front of ZY he always shouts and cries out. the funniest moment is in 29

I just realized there is another parallel in the first and last ep. At first ep LX walks to L&P and gets into the elevator and in the last ep, he is in the same clothes and the same expression but with ZY by his side. In the first ep he said he doesn't need anyone and in the last, he said he is not alone. I love the growth in his character yet how true to himself he still is.

I don't see with which eye some see LX as toxic. I think in the sp episode CFY summed up LX's character well. he loves ZY a lot, perhaps too much even. he prefers for her to hate him, than hurt her with the consequences of his revenge. he knew ZY would stop him if she knew his plan and he doesn't what to stop. as he said later to ZY, why should they get bullied? he is stubborn and makes decisions himself but it is what life taught him. he never expected ZY to suffocate herself in guilt over what happened to him. ZY's depression wasn't due to LX, but because she felt helpless. remember she lost her best friend and then her lover to an actual toxic character without being able to do sth about it. guilt is a powerful element in depression. when LX knows her depression he always keeps telling her not to worry and overthink and is mindful of the smallest details about her mood. if anyone is toxic it is GJH. one look at his relationship with luna says it all. LX always tried to protect ZY to the point that everyone says he can leave anyone but ZY and listens to her. is he possessive and jealous? yes, but did he act on them in any way as GJH did to luna? NO. the reason LX in ep27 lashed out to ZY was because he really got hopes and had started believing ZY is not with the painter only to see them in the same house. he felt betrayed because no matter how many times he said he would let ZY go, deep down he believed ZY will always love him but that moment ZY said she doesn't remember the past love it triggered him. was he right? NO. was he toxic?NO. he was human and he was also hurt because he really felt he lost ZY and didn't want to get his hopes up. have you never heard about Defense mechanisms? and one last point, find a couple in real life that never fights or hurts each other. love means being vulnerable and losing yourself to the other one as LX pointed out perfectly. no relationship is without conflict. get out of your fairy tale mindsets that say everything is all cherry and happy in love. it is not.

why in episode 27 ZY didn't eat porridge?

I just love how multilayered and complex LX's character is. It's been a while since I saw such a character in dramas that even after rewatching, there is still so many aspects of his behaviour that I haven't noticed before.

in episode 35 LX said ZY gave herself away pretty soon and in episode 25 iirc, when ZY took his mobile to add her contact number, LX clearly checked out her ring and smiled. I think at that point he no longer believed Randi's words about ZY getting married and believed ZY still hasn't moved on. that's why when he asked for ZY's address in ep 26 and thought she is living with the painter he got mad. correct me if I'm wrong but if the subtitle is right, the next day he told her she likes all kinds of men and doesn't know how to choose men', it seemed to me as if he thought ZY was swaying between him and the painter despite saying she wants to be a colleague. wasn't he mad because he thought he was wrong about ZY still loving him? I mean he clearly lost it the moment ZY said she doesn't remember loving him. it wasn't all due to driving ZY away, he didn't want to give himself hope as his friend also said. that aside I didn't understand why he couldn't just call ZY and ask for her address.
