This made him stop pursuing education but even then, he managed to learn a lot with his high school education all by himself and make it to the top in his previous life. Hence it shows his determination and wit. also he outwitted his previous head by reporting directly to the head even when he was told to keep his head down. so i can kind of see where he gets his smarts from

also, if i remember correctly he was born during the mourning period of the previous king hence also another factor to be unlucky, i guess.

I have a theory, might be wrong but the queen was forced by the grandma to make the grand prince live out of the palace because 1) some astrological bs of him forseen to be king or 2) that the crown prince and grand prince in actual might have been twins hence he might have had a claim on the throne. but in either case the grandma seems to be the one instigating the process of sending off prince seongnam. i might be totally wrong but it's fun to expect.

i kind of understand i think it might be because of the intense introduction in both the longest day in chang'an and this, especially so for the longest day in chang'an.

hope he gets a bigger role, his acting is on point and he didn't shy away from acting a female role and even danced nicely with the skirt and all even if it is for 1 ep. (this is in a drama called a dream of splendor)

she is technically not married, as in she is not the official wife but married in as a concubine hence, she is not in red dress. Only the official wife in ancient China gets a proper wedding with the red dress and ceremony, at least to my understanding

yep have to agree, the final part of the story could have been much more spaced out, i generally like the whole story and acting but the ending just left me confused for a second there i didn't know whose son died because the time jump was too much.

OMG, i relate so much i was super annoyed when the main lead left the girl with suspect and he not recording the statement beforehand seemed dumb too. But overall, the plot seems interesting and at least a bit different from the usual kdrama plot seeting.

True but that's literally the trope of the female lead, she is supposed to be clueless with money and is supposed to be a bookwork. Unlike the ml who is good with money. Hence the connection between ml and FL.

nope they are fake , because he pretended to be a gangster and in Korea there is a stereotype that gangsters have tattoos and a lot of it. especially like the one mc had , the tattoo of a tiger.
