this is exactly what I was thinking, I only like a manipulative male lead if their female counterpart is also as calculative and sharp as he is, when the woman is so pure and easily manipulated but the guy is too scheming, it doesn't feel right to me(unless they don't end up together). for now, they are okay to watch because of their dynamic contrast to the main couple's dynamic adds more color to the story.

I feel you, i used to be so heated back in the TTEOM days because of this but now when i start to see hateful words toward her when i search her name, i just stop, close weibo and find something else to do. That’s the only way i can retain my sanity haha. Btw have you seen today’s pics? Her outfits are pretty cute, although they still gave her that boots but at least there’s progress😆

Well, the 2nd fl is supposed to be a rich girl that grew up in a wealthy family and spend money like water so i can see why they give her slightly better outfits. but yes i agree that they should give fl a better-fitted clothes. who knows.. maybe it might look better on camera as we know leaked photos sometimes can be deceiving😆

He’s a son of an art professor who just came back from abroad, he and fl have met each other when they were kids.
