yeah all this combined with the stiff acting from thomas made it hard to watch. the only reason i managed to finish this is 1. i watched it on going so just one ep a week whenver i am extremely bored and had nothing else to watch. 2. RealHia’s plot saved this show a ton for me 3. the family dynamics was cute amd healed my childhood a little 4. the straight couple was cute which is rare for a bl.
i dont know if the calculations changed on mdl or people just became more tolerant or what recently but a lot of recent bls have been getting high ratings. Not saying bad bls are getting highly rated but def seen a lot of average bls get rated alongside badbuddy, kinnporsche, itsay etc. As someone whose been on here for a while and with a huge watchlist i would say this would sit at 7.9 in og mdl standards.
that being said, i def dont regret watching this but for sure had my hand on the fast forward 10s button.

yesss just came here to reply the same thing!!! ive seen so many shy and awkward first kisses (both high schoolers vs old people, both straight and gay) that made me all smiley and giggle. this one just gave me the ick. and just a simple quick peck with or without a hug can be acted out in a shy and awkward way too which is why i mentioned it.
i about choked when klao and yotha started the kiss competition at the bar. ended too quick tho 😭. Also at this point they di be just baiting us with aouboom putting them in every goddamn series but not giving them leads 😭😭😭😭.
this is so cute and fluffy. really needed something soft and light. but cannot get used to how stiff thomas acts. its not even bad acting but it just feels like he is acting. it doesn’t seem natural. its his first show so hope he gets better eventually. i see the potential.

yeah. these two characters are super intelligentand aware about their feelings. they are not annoying and naive and dumb and dodgie about their feelings like we are so used to.
