does anyone know where else we can watch this? its not available on iqiyi in my country :(
If it's not available on iqiyi, maybe try using a vpn. It's available in places like china and Philippines... so maybe set the vpn to some places in Asia. Also, I suggest maybe viki.com. Just search up viki rakuten.
There will probably be streaming parties on twitter too. So we just have to wait and see
In the webtoon Hyuk likes Lalima but since he's too young, Lalima says no. Lalima likes KwonRyuk, but she later stops having a crush on him ever since he got with Maha.
This is your opinion and you are SO entitled to that!! You might be consumed with too much kpop that you feel this drama is 'disappointing'. Basically, this drama is not for you. However...
--It's a good thing that real idols are acting, since this drama is about idols lives and the kpop industry. The idols themselves (specifically Yunho from Ateez) have said in an interview how much they relate with their characters. --We literally get to see the behind the scenes! It's exciting for viewers (especially kpop fans & kdrama fans) to see how the kpop industry works, rumours, scandals, mental health, secret relationships, debuting, disbanding and etc. --For promotions, the actors are acting as their characters just to promote the songs. It's literally great publicity on a KBS weekend show. --Only Shax and TeaParty are promoting on 'Music Bank'. Both 'Music Bank' and 'Imitation' are KBS shows and they both air on Fridays. That's even more great!! :D --'Dream High' and 'Imitation' center around idols, trainee, music, and maybe dreams. However, it's not that fair to judge and compare in that kind of way, especially a 1 minute teaser of 'Imitation' to a 10 year old drama. -- It's perfectly normal that they made a new drama about kpop industry. 'Imitation' and 'Dream High' are not the only dramas about kpop.... There are other ones like 'One Fine Week', 'Top Management', 'The IdolMaster', 'Part-Time Idol', 'Entertainer', etc.
(Overall, Kpop is an entire industry, not just music and promotions. I'm happy that we get to view kpop in a different form... through a kdrama storyline. It appeals to many people and brings more attention to the new rookie idol actors.)
honestly the rankings are just... weird?? I'm not blaming anyone here cause I understand where all this is coming…
hmm..... But some groups have a small fandom but they're literally 2nd and 3rd in fan voting... Thats due to viewers of the show voting for that group out of pity or because they genuinely liked them.
So not all small groups with small fandoms are lower ranks. Ateez has a pretty big fandom with the 2nd most whosfan followers out of the 6 kingdom groups, yet they are being ranked 5th for fan voting. It truly sucks since their performances are not 5th place worthy :(
Has there be dramas (like this) before about idols solely?
I highly suggest you watch "One Fine Week". It's a drama about Idol lives and highlights idols relationships, idols' mental health, crazy fans, idol scandals, music, and more.
It stars Seo Jisoo from girl group 'Lovelyz' and Shin Junseop from former group 'Myteen'.
Continue because you thought it was good. Controversies have nothing to do with how you watch the drama bruh.
umm it really depends on the person... To me it DOES matter and to you, it probably doesn't. People like me mix dramas with reality and thats perfectly ok to me. Like I said in my last sentence, once the controversies die down, I'll probably watch it again.
In the mean time, i'll catch up on my other dramas....
[Shax debut song "MALO":] -guitar section, energetic, chic, sweet vocals. Lyrics: “I’m sick of it”, “It’s okay, It’s okay”.

TeaParty's debut teaser song called "SHOW ME" is out! It is an innocent, cute and energetic song that shows their charms.

People can be so mean and disrespectful :(
