Stressful but Sweet Ending
Honestly, what i feel the most when watching this is frustrated. Frustrated of the conflicts, also of Dao & Toy's character. I do appreciate Mew's acting here (especially when she restrained her feeling & secretly crying), but i couldn't bear with Dao's character to the level that i couldn't sympathize with her anymore (that's when she decided to marry the 3rd ML, what a stupid decision!). At this point, i started to conclude that this lakorn was not entertaining, lol.Surprisingly, i didn't think that the ending would be this satisfying & relieving! š What made me hesitant along the episodes, was answered in the end. Ok, i change my mind. It's entertaining & makes me happy. I love to see a couple supporting each other & Dao did her best to support her husband. Pope-Mew, so lovely š
I also love the OST so much, especially the female version. It fits perfectly with sad scenes.
Edit: after rewatching, i understand Dao more & give this higher rating. The most irritating moment here is just when Toy manipulates Gamo. The rest is great, lovely.

Quite a realistic drama & still an engaging show <3
The first half of the drama is worth 8.5/10, but the second half makes it deserves 9.5/10 from me. My highlight is: characters' & plot's dynamics are so real!- FL is pretty as she should as a lead, but in a much more down to earth style (messy hair, casual outfits all the time, sometimes with that mismatched color/style, with the same shoes, bags, hair style, almost everyday), she just looks like an ordinary girl, like us. She's cheerful, likes teasing Oto, but sometimes she uses her cheerfulness as a seal for what actually is in her mind, and it's hurt to witness that throughout the drama.
- The characters' dynamics , which shows us that we are just a human with all of its complexity, sometimes we can be kind, sometimes we 'have to' hurt others simply to survive for ourselves.
- I usually don't really enjoy romance with too many misunderstandings. Usually misunderstandings come along with bickering couple and it's stressful to watch. But this one, i just can't hate it. Oto and Soramame are still kind & respect each other (with all of their assumptions towards each other, and that made me cry even more).
- I can say it has only slight romance, bcoz what we see more is how Oto and Soramame survive & fight for their own life, like no time for love. And it's what makes this drama more realistic and down to earth.
- Not just the character's dynamic, but the storyline is also unpredictable, unexpected. It reminds me to always believe in God's plan for each of us :)))))

I cried a lot, unexpectedly...
A middle school drama.Funny & light.
Drama with almost no "drama".
No explicit confession.
Not much skinship & those usual romantic scenes.
No 3rd wheel.
But it made me cried, alot.
Not bcoz of their goodbye.
But how the girl falls for the boy, how she keeps her feeling but also tries to hint him in many moments.
How she acts cheerfully, teaseful, witty but in certain moments she just can't hide her sadness & worry for leaving him š
I wondered why Nishikata keeps being close to Takagi if he is that annoyed with her. And he can choose to be with his boy friends instead of her. But yeah, he's just being comfy with her being teaseful. Even if there's no romantic feeling between them, their interaction & friendship is wonderful. Warm, cute, fun.
Yes the girl looks a bit older than the boy, physically & psychologically. But in reality, a girl usually grows faster psychologically than a boy. Takagi does realize about her own feeling, while Nishikata doesn't. Nishikata's reaction/expression is always priceless. He's that cute, funny, naive, innocent.
I just realize how lovely & wise their teacher is actually, when he tries to comfort Nishikata. He does know how close Nishikata & Takagi are, also the "problem" between them.
This drama shows us that youth romance drama doesn't need to try so hard to be romantic. Simple & fun relationship like Nishikata & Takagi's already gives me butterflies (& tears, lol). Like, they're just in middle school. Too young to talk about love, to date (although in reality, even primary school students have already experienced dating). No need to confess the feeling explicitly. No need to say "love", "like". Both of them have no idea about each other's feeling, but 1 thing they do know, they feel comfy with each other, want each other to be happy. At the very least, they are really good friends.
Sure will be back here if i need something warm, light romance, also a good cry š

I call it mystery drama
It's more of a mystery rather than romance. Or both mystery and romance, but you hardly see the romantic scenes between the leads, which i regret the most from this drama. You'll see both leads suffer almost throughout the drama. So, watch it once is enough, bcoz actually it isn't really entertaining to watch. It's quite torturing, if i may conclude. One thing i appreciate the most is the plot. The truth is revealed step by step (through flashbacks and confession from the characters) so it kept me seated, although we need to wait until the very last ep for the full truth, lol. Quite tiring, but also quite worth the wait. Unfortunately, the writer somehow only focused on the mystery and forget the romantic scenes/quality times between the leads, the thing that we need the most from romance drama.
Still, i give it 8/10 for the engaging-yet-torturing storyline.

Has potential but.... so so
What's funny about this drama is, i didn't really enjoy the storyline, but actually I'm quite related with what FL feels. Like, being single in 30s, have been enjoying living alone freely but somehow longing for soulmate, a bit, but then again being scared of losing this freedom. Lol. So which one do you want? I feel you sis. The difference between me and FL is, there's someone madly in love with her, while me, not a single guy, at least, not yet. Lol.Let me start from the dislikes (bcoz i'm quite disappointed with the drama)
- considering the age gap & knowing each other recently, to me, the ML falls for FL too soon.
- ML is a perfect guy, but considering the fast burn feeling towards FL, it's just too good to be true. Not beliavable enough that he loves her that much.
- it's so unnecessary to make ML be jealous with 2ML. He's married after all. If the scriptwriter wants to make a plot of ML being jealous, they should've just made 2ML NOT married.
Likes:
- some of memorable quotes from ML: be more relax when you're with me, don't think by yourself, sometimes be spoiled isn't wrong, how can you think that the one i love is a burden?, for the first time i hate being 9 years younger <3
- the ending is simple but heartwarming

Need a short, sweet, light romance? Give it a try, trust me!
Honestly the start isn't that impressive. Seems like a nosy FL, also those annoying aunties in neighborhood. I've been curious of this show since long ago though, and it's just 12 eps @30minutes. Nothing to lose to finish it. And glad I made a right decision :)The story is focused on the main couple's dynamics, which IS GOOD. No unnecessary side stories.
I like both of lead's characters. ML, I feel him at the beginning when he needs to adjust himself in completely new & different environment. He's quite an introvert that dislikes a sudden change, people cross his boundaries/privacy, etc. However he still has manner to be polite towards others. CYW's acting is good. He's stiff as he should. Even when talking to his Seoul friend, his expression & words is that efficient, lol. Also like his casual look. CYW is effortlessly handsome, his casual hair style is just fit with him.
FL, not a good first impression of her. Seems nosy, her look isnāt convincing as a police officer (her make up is on, also her well-styled hair despite her work that's almost always under the sun). But after 2 eps, I'm starting to get used to her characters and appearance. She intentionally puts her make up on, that's why. I like her combination of characters. She's cheerful, but she also has that calmness. She is bright like a sun, but she can be that gloomy. She's reliable and capable of doing anything but she also has that inferiority. I feel ML at the beginning, but later (til the end) I feel FL, I'm with her :)
The romance, it's a love quadrangle but luckily SFL and SML still have their senses, so rest assured, it's just a spice, not stressful :)
I also like that both ML and FL fight for each other's love. Not a one-sided fight, you know.
People can say anything, but to me the lead's chemistry is unexpectedly good!! ML and FL look naturally comfie and in love with each other. You know, ML's expression is stiff almost throughout the drama, but when he's having good time with FL, his smile melts, he can laugh, and his white teeth shows off (lol). It's a rare moment, donāt you miss it, lol.
The last, "What's the point of dating if you don't bother each other?" is the best quote from this show.

Another beautiful past-and-present-drama
This drama reminds me of Sunya Ruk Sunya Luang, a beautiful past-and-present-drama aired in 2020. So, forgive me if I make comparisons between both dramas in reviewing this one, but perhaps it will also help you to choose which one to watch first :)Storyline:
- Basically, the past life story is just a typical lakorn: love triangle, evil third wheel, (abundant) misunderstandings, etc. even in the present life there are typical plot as a lakorn, but I appreciate that the storyline is well executed, well connected between the past and present life, it's not hard to understand the whole plot despite those flashbacks.
- SRSL somewhat has the same plot, has love triangle in it, evil third wheel, but it has better and ellegant storyline. Even the villain is as beautiful as FL (but with different aura).
Romance:
- PPB has more romance between the main couple, which is good, also the chemistry is good. They are wise and understand each other so much. Both leads' characters are likable enough. FL knows when she needs to listen to others and when she needs to hold on to her own opinion. She's young but wise and not unreasonable. ML acts fast when there's misundertanding between him and FL, which is good and gentleman.
- SRSL has less romance despite the lovely chemistry of main couple. FL is more mature (and ellegant, again I say) but ML is also lovable when he starts to soften up to FL :)
Acting:
- Basically the main actors are good. It's my first time watching Bank. He's good, even in crying scenes, also handsome :) Pin, as a new comer, is also good, she has potential. I also appreciate Gam Yanisa, despite her annoying char, the script gives her chance to explore her emotion, especially that 1 emotional scene at hospital. She also has potential. Curious to see her as a main role.
- The 3 main roles in SRSL also do a good job. FL with her different char between in past and in present life (in past she's naĆÆve, insecure, but in present she's more mature, so calm, express her feeling more through her eyes than her gesture or expression), evil SFL in her ellegant aura, ML that's more emotional in present life.
OST
- Unfortunately, PPB doesn't have memorable soundtrack, at least for me. SRSL does have :)
Cinematography
- PPB has much better CGI than SRSL, but for me SRSL is better in cinematography
Dislike:
- The annoying character of FL's sister, Khim. She's always against everyone. Is she a villain or what? Lol. Although I can understand her background, it still challenges me to see her actions.
- An actress that sexually harass ML, ergghh disgusting, despite her motives.
- The comedy is NOT funny at allā¦

Daily life of workers in entertainment industry that's really fun!
I watch it for the romance only, but I get much more than that!-The romance itself (not just the main couple, but also the other 2 couples) is really good. However, the one that steals my heart is the Manager-Manager couple <3 Kang Yu-seong steals my heart right from the start. He has good chemistry with EVERYONE (as co-worker, senior, friend, what elseā¦). His smile is charismatic and warm. He takes care of everyone, heās that reliable. āHe deserves a good love story hereā, I wondered from the start. And yes, luckily his love story indeed meets my satisfaction. The main couple is also good and funny. Yeah sometimes they act foolishly, childish, but itās a romcom, so itās just fun for me. They also maintain a good relationship til the end. In conclusion, overall the love story of the 3 couples is built smoothly, naturally, gradually, which is good.
- Almost every character is likable. Almost every scene is worth watching. Many scenes are also effortlessly hilarious.
- The problems arenāt that stressful. Itās good that they donāt make the problems draggy thru the show. It is definitely an entertaining, fun, light drama.
- A light drama sometimes can be a miss, like, itās not that intriguing. But this one is surely a hit for me. I finished it in just 5 days.

Sweet & worth-rewatching romance! Also Mewadee is the prettiest.
This is unexpectedly good & enjoyable, especially the romance. After a very long time finally i found another fav couple!
I dont always enjoy ML being possessive, but i do enjoy this one that much. Also dont always enjoy FL being straightforward to the ML, but i'm ok with this one. I just love their chemistry, that much, to the point that i'm disappointed they aren't dating in rl (bcoz i thought they ARE, even before i watched this drama)
Love the interaction, love the bickering, the angst, almost everything about ML & FL is just satisfying.
I also enjoy the moments at her school, love the chemistry between FL and her bestie (Fahlan), enjoy the scenes of FL & SML.
Mewadee is the prettiest! I adore Oom since long ago, have watched several movies & dramas of her. I think Mewadee is the prettiest look of Oom. With light make up & casual outfit, her aura shines that bright.
I think this review isn't really helpful for others. No idea what to say. Just wanna express how i like this drama :)

When Other Couples' Stories are More Engaging than the Main Leads'
*beware of the spoilers, i just wanna review this drama in this way*Just go the point of how i look at each couple's love story.
-main leads: unfortunately, their story isn't really interesting to me. Not the actors, but their love story. I mainly skipped their scenes after knowing the base of the love story. But the last 2 eps of them is engaging enough. When FL is that busy & ML tries to adapt. ML tries so hard, but not for FL, she feels guilty instead. These 2 different principles of love put them in difficult situation & hurt him THAT MUCH. I like how she finally tries to make up for him.
-ML's eldest sis & Jae-un: their story has good potential actually. Both keep being single for decades, then fate makes them meet each other. UNFORTUNATELY, for people who've been single for a very long time, their relationship is just too sudden, i don't feel the depth of their feelings towards each other.
-FL's ex Jae-shin: you know what? I prefer FL to be with Jae-shin instead. I know he's a jerk when he keeps 2 relationships in one time & when she's that angry, he still couldnt find the real reason behind her anger, lol. However, his life is THAT hard, she's the only good thing in his life, i can say. But in the end, it's good for her to break up bcoz their r'ship can't bring them anywhere good. Thanks they made them separate in good term. While Jae-shin & Hyo-joo, their dynamic is good. When Jae-shin finally let go of FL, i thought Hyo-joo will be more mature & be a good wife for him in the end. Instead, she keeps being childish & he cant stand it. Their separation is a good thing tho. Hyo-joo finally learns to live and love her life. She grows up. And Jae-shin, finally he can move on, start off his new life independently, & both have good term in the end :)
-last but not least, 2nd elder sis of ML Yun-seung & her husband: their story is the saddest, i cried a lot. I'm surprised knowing they started their r'ship from kinda blind date. And she "instantly" fell for him, simply bcoz of his gesture which always listens to her WHENEVER & WHATEVER she says, ON THEIR FIRST MEETING! I guess i'll fall for him also, lol. He's a good man. That's why, i do ship this couple. But when their real problem comes, it hurts me :( i cried when she cried a lot. I didnt think this thing will come & break them apart. Although they separate for good, i still wish they got back together :( He's indeed a good husband & she loves him that much :((

An Enjoyable Average Drama
If talk about romance, i enjoy 2nd & 3rd couple the most, & they're the reason i wanna start watching this. The main couple's issue is complicated, mostly i ff their scenes. The most outstanding character & performance: Jean as Rita. At first i thought she's an annoying 3rd wheel. In fact, not at all. She's loud, talkative, cheerful, sometimes careless, FIERCE, STRAIGHTFORWARD, capable in fighting back the villains, meddles too much in other's matters. But she can also be sad (i even cried in some of her mellow scenes), complicated, & actually she can be reliable & helpful with her nosiness. Complete package!
Meimei as Paeng is also noticeable. She's grown up from a naive & careless girl to a tough, disciplined woman/mom. I just can feel her when she behaves towards people that once hurt her: skeptical, tired, bland, sick of their apologies & excuses. She's been through many bad things.
I also enjoy the story of Pak & her dad. Overall it's a fun watch, with ff in certain scenes.

Predicted but Still Engaging & Emotional
It's definitely NOT a lovey dovey drama; more of a realistic drama; & surprisingly I enjoyed it. Almost in the 1st half eps, it's like other lakorns with its conflict & melodramatic vibes. It started to be much more interesting when the divorce issue came up. & after that, everything is just realistic; which I love it. Not a sweet & romance drama; even Na & Wasin's story. Na, what can we hope from a widow to be in love again? Wasin, he's really straightforward, even about his feeling; he never talks sweet. But they show a great chemistry. Also Chad & Tharee that's cute & sweet in their own way.Lessons I got:
- A wife should realize her priority role & know that men commonly likes something pretty. I admit that Na's so busy with house chores that she forgets to take care of herself. Thada sometimes jokingly asks her to be better-dressed, have better look. But Na didn't take it seriously. It becomes a problem when someone pretty & sexy like Kanya comes to Thada's life. Thada is already happy with Na in his life. But he's just like other men that needs to see someone pretty & tempting. Na didn't fulfill his need in this aspect. Unfortunately, Kanya did it. Don't get me wrong, Thada's action is totally wrong, but Na isn't totally right. Na is a wife, not a maid. She should've acted as a wife, not too busy with that house chores.
- We all know that Kanya is the one started this problem. She intended to make Thada fall for her. He had tried to be loyal to Na. But Kanya's actions & look are too tempting to deny. What's worse is, when Thada realized her intention, he didn't immediately stay away from her. He stupidly get along with her plan. Men, oh, menā¦
The best things from this drama: how Na moves on & be happy with her new life, how Thada & Na make up with each other (as friend), & the regret of Thada. After he realized what he's done, he's totally regretful. One of the best scene is when he's staring at his family photo (him, Na, & their daughter) in his office; staring that deeply.

Best Revenge Lakorn I've Ever Watched, So Far
1st time i watched it just for Mew. But the more i watch it, the more i know the details, the more i love the main cast & story. i've rewatched it for 5-6x, lol. So many things i wanna share in this review, but it ended up just like this.Like:
-storyline. The background of why Sai has that fiery revenge is nothing special, but her way in playing the āgameā is actually interesting. We can see that Sai dominates throughout the drama, but in the end she gets what she deserves. The plot is also interesting. When Sai is about to stop herself, but her opponent makes it worse instead. Also when Buri is about to visit Sai, but Sai ruins it instead. Gosh, so tragic and emotional. And when the story seems to end happily, it still has dynamic, lol. Well, revenge drama usually has life lesson, but in this one, they make it differently, wonderfully.
-acting. I love the way Sai stares at her āopponentsā with her cunning mind & intimidative eyes. We can see that in these moments, Sai is surely a strong, dominant, & controlling woman. However, if you notice it, youāll see how Sai react towards Buri: she becomes a sweet & obedient girl. Itās Buri, the only man who can control Sai, also makes Sai get headache, lol. I did enjoy their scenes & chemistry together. I also love how Buri tries so hard to restrain his heart towards Sai, also to keep his secret. Pity him, he has to face such situation between best friend & lover. Chan, he looks so lonely & obviously needs love. When he realizes that Sorn is care of him but already engaged, he canāt do anything. Sorn, the naĆÆve & plain girl but has a pure heart. At first her character doesnāt look interesting, but later she becomes the best in character development. When she knows what she wants, she will try her best to get it, of course in good way. Pat, he perfectly portrays a man who's just grown up. Unfortunately, heās not experienced enough in playing the āgameā with Sai and compete with Chan & Buri. To Sai, Patās just a kid who tries so hard to be on the same level as Sai, Chan, Buri. In fact, heās not.
-OST. As people said, the 3 OSTs are the best! It fits & intensifies the emotion in scenes.
Dislike:
-of course the ending? but i didn't fully hate it. Like, it's not fair for certain people to have ending like that, but it's the best ending for other people i guess. It's a realistic ending. And with those amazing acting, wonderful story, i do forgive the ending. I'll still choose drama with amazing storyline with sad ending rather than those with average story & end happily yet flatly, or even forced to be happy ending.

Has Potential, But..... Lack in Depth
It has potential. A single father who struggles to support his children. And when he meets his lover, they survive together thru ups and downs. However, let me tell you that the biggest issue from this lakorn is SOUL.This lakorn lacks soul in almost every scene, which I regret the most. There are many problems with the cycle: problem-solved-happy-problem-solved-happy, again & again, but what I really feel is just BLAND. Also too many coincidences which makes me think āok, donāt worry, thereāll be miracle for this problem.ā Also when (supposed to be) romantic scenes, I donāt feel like āawww sweeetā, warm, lovely, etc. Bland. I wonder whether itās due to the actors only, or part of it is the production team that doesnāt give enough soul/emotion to the scenes and doesnāt explore the charactersā emotion. Fyi, I donāt need passionate/lustful romance. Light sweet moments, deep talks, helpful to each other, staring each other deeply, thatās enough for me, as long as they explore the emotion. Iām also fine with those evil 3rd wheel, evil mother in law, etc. itās just that Iām not emotionally involved with the plot :(
Surprisingly, it still deserves 7.5 from me. Things I like:
-it's getting better at last 5 eps.
- strong & mature FL. To date a widower, especially when he already has kids, isnāt that easy. ML should think of others, not just his gf. The gf should be ready not to be his 1st priority in his life. & yeah, sheās ready with that. She always understands her bfās condition. Thatās why, no matter how hard the problems, how evil the 3rd wheel & other parties, they can face it together, no misunderstandings between them. It makes this lakorn isnāt stressful.
- The other 3 couples are interesting to follow.

Light and Enjoyful Drama
This lakorn has all the ālakorn checklistā: fake/forced marriage, annoying + loud-screaming + evil-eye antagonists, rich+spoiled children, awesome+breathtaking castles (yeah I canāt call it āhouseā lol), too dramatic, etc. I usually canāt get along with such lakorn, but try this one bcoz of the leads, & surprisingly I could enjoy this one!Things I like:
- Chemistry of both leads are cuteeeee, love them, especially when ML teases FL & she smiles shyly, aww. And MLās character is warm, mature, kinda family man.
- Love story of Pink & Wut is also interesting. At first I wondered why Pink insisted on marrying Nuk & stayed in that house, later I could guess the reason.
- The strong characters of the siblings. I usually canāt endure seeing the protagonist being bullied by the antagonist. But in here, I enjoy so much when both parties argue. Bcoz when the antagonists bully/threaten the protagonists, almost everytime the protagonists are able to talk back/challenge in elegant ways, & finally they can win. Hahaha. It just satisfies me.
- Enjoy the whole stories. Only some scenes I usually skip: scenes of that crazy evil family. I skimmed it just to understand the story.
Things I donāt really like:
- after what Khun Jee had done, the ending for her isnāt really satisfying. Itās just too easy for her.
- unfortunately, the ending is so so. wish I could see Pin knowing the truth that Neung just pranked her. Also wish the leads had more deep talks after the misunderstandings they had.
Iāll recommend this if you need light, cute, not too stressful dramas.
