I 100% agree with you. She was so good in the beginning but it's like she got bored of playing her character ..Also…
I don't really blame PSD because I think she's a very good actress, I'm pretty sure her character was just written to be that uninteresting at the end, which is just sad. She did what she had to do with what she was given.
But I do think PBG was carrying the chemistry on his back at the end because we see him be so sad and torn apart because of their breakup while she's pretty much like: :| . I've seen people wonder why PBG chose this show as his last before enlistement but I can see why the story resonated with him and in the end I think he played his character very well. It's too bad it sort of fell apart at the end.

After finishing the show (I binged the last 5 eps), I feel like even though there were many problems with the writing, the one that soured my enjoyment the most was the development of Jung Ha. I really liked her character in the first episodes; she was blunt, honest and direct, and I really enjoyed that. But after the middle of the show or so, I began to notice that she became (as others have pointed out already) quite robotic. Whenever she was bothered by something she didn't voice it out loud, and while I've seen this happen in other shows the difference here was that there was no real moment where everything she repressed came out; she was always calm and collected in a very unrealistic way. Hye Joon is also someone who internalizes his troubles, but unlike her we were shown that he cried himself to sleep every night because of it, and that the reason why he wanted a room for himself was precisely because he wanted to be able to do that.

To me at least, that's what made the show ultimately so boring. Hye Joon cried, got angry, upset, felt troubled and we got to see it, meanwhile Jung Ha internalized everything that bothered her with, seemingly, the excuse of her being "mature". That really irked me.

I have many other problems with how the show ended, but this is the one that stuck the most with me.

Long story short if you are considering watching it: if you want to see PBG being sweet and adorable, 100% go for it. But don't expect a romance that will make your heart flutter, and you'll probably have to skip many boring and pointless scenes while you watch.

I seem to be the only one who thinks this way but I will die on the hill that there's no way in hell the second lead couple was better/more interesting than the main couple. Kang Soo and Dan Ah had such a steady attraction towards each other, never wavered, communicated very well and told each other how they felt honestly. Kang Soo is definitely the nicest, sweetest male lead I've ever seen in a drama. I loved him so much!
