Oh yeah, I started it at the beginning of this week because I knew there were only 2 episodes left, I think it's definitely a show you binge or you may not find yourself interested enough to keep watching. I finished it cause I really was feeling like watching a romantic kdrama and I love Rowoon, so it wasn't THAT difficult for me to finish it. Jo Bo Ah's character was a bit more difficult to digest especially since I liked her character so much in Tale of the Nine Tailed, who is nothing like her character here lmao
It ends well and all the subplots (as far as I remember) wrap up at the end. I watched it in 1.5x speed (only because Netflix doesn't have 2x) and skipped some scenes, but I don't regret watching it if that's worth anything lol
It was nowhere near great, but it was fine? I guess. Sadly the female lead acts way, way, WAY too cutesy too often to the point where it's a bit infuriating. I don't like her cute voice or her acting child-like to the men she is attracted to, but that's a personal preference I guess. Sadly she also suffers from "dumbass that needs to be saved" syndrome, making choices that put her in danger and are just so. incredibly. dumb.
This show! The acting in episode 3 -- from both the kids and the HS versions -- is just amazing. And the vulnerability…
I hate the trope as well, but it's handled differently than in other dramas here. Elsewhere it's usually "we crossed paths one time as kids" and here they were literally best friends and really important to each other, but they were so little and their parents had no idea so they lost touch when Xia Rui moved away, and they never stopped missing each other or forgot each other
Very. The "dramatic moments" are like... two in the whole drama and they don't take long to resolve and in both cases the MCs support each other and also have their friends' support so it's all good
Youtube has some weird crap where the music is like toned down for some reason in some nice scenes not sure why…
Definitely copyright like someone already pointed out. Most chinese dramas I've watched on youtube have this, but tbh sometimes youtube is just so convenient that I watch them anyway. But it's mostly good for rewatching, for a first watch get the original experience and watch it elsewhere
Ngl, I didn't like A Love so Beautiful at all. I really disliked how mean the male lead was, but in WIFTY, the male lead is just closed off, not mean. And he slowly begins to open up more and more and learning how to express his emotions properly. And tbh, the only reason the FL allows herself to act like that towards him is because he lets her, and she can read him well. (Potential) Spoiler alert: There is one storyline where she believes he says she bothers him and starts to actively avoid him, regretting the way she has been acting. Until he goes after her and communicates with her, clearing the misunderstanding up. Because he does like the way she is, he's just an introvert. But if you do dislike this type of bubbly, effervescent, cute female lead, I doubt you'll end up liking the drama at any point no matter how many episodes you watch, cause that's just her personality.
Guys... I come here from watching When I Fly Towards you and I don't think I can handle a lot of stressful plots or sadness, can you tell me the general vibe, and if there are any dumb breakups halfway through or something like that? Thank you
need Spoiler plzzzz ππππ1. Is there any Love triangle b/w Leads ??2. Any Misunderstanding ?? Its Draggy…
1. No love triangles. The ML has a couple nasty girls who like him but he is not interested and they're not a threat to the FL whatsoever. 2. No real misunderstandings, there's like one but since it's not something it happens often you don't mind. It gets resolved quickly by having good communication. 3. EDIT: They start dating on ep 19, thank you Ziling! / I don't remember the episode to be honest, but it happens when they're done with high school, towards the end. Dating between students is strictly forbidden while they're in school, but the moment they're done they start dating immediately lol
Can anyone recommend dramas like this one???? I have watched other youth dramas, but nothing compares to this.
Have you watched Meeting You? It has similar vibes: smart introverted male lead x bubbly extroverted female lead, no love triangles, no dumb misunderstandings, no pointless conflict
oh my god I did not think this would be here lmfao
