I was worried that after watching The Starry Love I wouldn't find another xianxia that made me as happy but this one definitely does. This drama also cemented my love for stories where the female lead falls for a "villain" type and he falls for her just as hard, softening in the process. My god I love that trope so much
Ah yes, South Korea, the nation where they'll destroy your career because you have an addiction and do their very best to make sure you want to kill yourself, while simultaneously having normalized alcoholism to the point where heavy drinking appears in almost every single kdrama as if it is completely okay and causes no harm to the body
Does anyone have a twitter thread link or compilation link of all the deleted scenes? I keep seeing individual scenes here and there and I'd love to watch them all together
in my opinion the fact that amnesia parts didn't last 1ep deserve a 10 , to writer and director
Oh my god yes, I was so worried it was going to drag on, but it really made me think "wow, cliche tropes can be done in a way that isn't insufferable!"
The doctor's revenge arc seems to be only inserted as afterthought. It kinda felt like the story went off tangent.…
His plot is what makes him able to become the person who helps her, no questions asked. He emphatizes with her pain and desire for revenge in a way I think no one else does. When others may falter or be like "are you sure you're not going too far? Maybe you should stop" he'll just follow her wherever she goes. If he didn't have his personal experience, none of that would've been possible
at first was kind of disappointed in this kind of genre we go for to tear jerker sad ending or someone dies, I…
I had to take a few hours to organize my feelings about the ending but ultimately, we were teased the whole drama that the sisters had a sealed fate. Like Tan said, we were lucky to see them find love with two men who were devoted to them, but ultimately, their fate was their fate. I think any other ending that was "happy" besides this would've probably delved into pandering territory
I don't usually get very emotionally attached to Xianxia dramas because even though I don't mind them, they're not my favorite genre. BUT MY GOD that changed with this drama. I was not expecting to love the characters and relationships as much as I did, and now I am so sad it's over. Early today when the last episode came out I went and immediately watched the ending, and even though I was disappointed then, that's no longer the case. This drama is lovely and the characters are well developed and amazing. 9/10
The writer has a teenage daughter in high school, this is a compilation of stories from real people and you are…
Maybe it wasn't enough for you, but what was clearly implied in Yeon Jin's last scene in jail shows that she is getting abused, and I am sure in more ways than one. And she'll continue being abused for the rest of the time she spends in jail. So no, she's not "just in jail"
i loved the show but I wish we saw yeon jin and the serial killer once in their life feel regret for what they…
Someone like her would've never felt actual guilt or remorse (at least not without years of professional help) because she was raised to believe it was her right to do the things she did, so she was unable to see anything wrong with it
For debate:Do you think Doyoung would've the same reaction as Jae Jun for what that creepy kindergarden teacher…
He would've gone the legal way, but would've probably made sure his stay in jail is a living hell. Not as immediate as Jae Jun's punishment but probably worse in the long run
I have several opinions to say regarding this...1. I completely hated Moon's mother, I had not seen a more opportunistic…
I'd argue that he did help her, by just letting her do whatever she needed to do. He didn't "actively" help in the ways Yeo Jung did, but he is very powerful and rich and if he'd wanted to he could've done something to hinder Dong Eun's plan and he didn't. So imo he did help
i didn't expect 2nd Ml to actually raise ye sul tho but the hug w his daughter was so cute. also i low-key feel…
I knew he would! That little girl was his daughter no matter what any DNA test said, and he always showed that's how he felt. He wanted her, raised her, and loved her, and that was not going to change even if he suddenly found out some other guy was her biological father. I think it is that love and protectiveness over her which made him kill Jae Jun, because as we know from moments before he died when he went and tried to find Ye Sol, he would've never stopped trying to take her from him. On one hand, I understand he was her biological dad and seemed to "care" about her, but on the other one, he was fucking unhinged and a terrible person, the worst possible choice to take care of a little kid.
I loved the romance between Dong Eun and Yeo Jung. I think besides each other they wouldn't have ever found someone who truly understood them, and knew everything about them and still loved them all the same. I am so happy they found each other
still yeonjin got the best ending out of all of them.gets to live in prison with her mum (did yeonjin get death…
Her mom completely ignored her and clearly wants nothing to do with her, and I am actually pretty sure the other inmates she shares a room with are fucking her up physically and psychologically
Can someone spoil me1. Does anyone die? If it is who? 2. Does the fl and ml end up together? 3. Happy ending?…
1. Jae Joon and Hyun Nam's husband 2. Yes they do, they really feel made for each other 3. Yes, happy ending. They end up plotting their revenge on the guy who killed Yeo Jung's dad
The moment she picked him up as a puppy I wanted them to be together, they were SO ADORABLE
2. Yes they do, they really feel made for each other
3. Yes, happy ending. They end up plotting their revenge on the guy who killed Yeo Jung's dad
