the amount of hate in the comments is cracking me up LOL if you don't like it, move along. you don't have to watch it. there're way many others in the audience seat who's liking this so don't be a party pooper. you can be objective, it may not be perfect but you don't have to throw shade at them or the production team lol. wild.

LingOrm was the first GL pairing I ever watched in my life, so I don’t have other pairings or series to compare them to. For me, I’m just enjoying the ride and seeing where the story goes. Every drama has its pacing quirks, but I’m here mainly for them and their chemistry, and so far I’m not disappointed.

So, 8 episodes from TSOU were “unsuccessful,” and now 14 episodes are also “unsuccessful.” Should we be waiting for an 80-episode long-form or a 2-hour movie to finally be “successful”? Yeah, it’s so bad that TSOU somehow catapulted them to international fame, made them globally recognised, and even bagged them awards. Truly shocking how such a “trash production” managed to do all that, right? 🙃

Thank you for this! Finally, a comment that makes sense from a viewer’s perspective. I’ve literally walked out of cinemas before because of over-the-top product placement, so with this being relatively tame, I totally agree.

LingOrm's pairing started me on GLs (caught them in TSOU), and I came here ready to “spazz” over their chemistry, but instead it’s just anti-fans or know-it-alls complaining about everything under the sun 😂 It’s been a good, if not decent, build up so far and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how the plot thickens!

You're hilarious. TSOU made them some of the channel’s top earners, so of course, the channel built on that, especially with fans demanding a second collab. Filming isn’t free, and nobody on set works for fun. Ads and product placements cover costs, pay salaries, and boost actors’ visibility and brand deals, which the girls have plenty of.

You call it “milking,” but if the channel didn’t produce this, you’d yell “cold storage” instead. So, which is it, constant complaining or funding the production yourself?

Honestly, it’s hilarious seeing anti-fans and even fans acting like experts, convinced their limited knowledge is the right way, and nitpicking every detail. Have you run a channel this big? Do you even know what drives revenue? This channel has been long-lasting and well recognised for a reason, apparently through “horrible” production and promotion that people still can’t stop watching. Yes, I had Netflix way before this show, and yes, there are other shows from many countries if you need options.

If you want to compare with other pairings or channels, go ahead, but stick to what makes you comfortable. Nobody is forcing you to watch or support LingOrm or Channel 3. At least give them credit for doing their best, because not every project needs to meet your script to be worthwhile.

While TSOU did well with the 8 episodes, it did feel a little rushed with the buildup and ending. Maybe you're not understanding now because the plot just started lol, and there are so many arcs that are not introduced based on the cast lists. The two leads are females who have feelings for each other since day one, which probably is enough to explain why it's a GL.

I think people are just envious of how fast they rose (as compared to the artiste they follow, maybe?) 😂 maybe like what was shown in episode 4, jealousy makes things scary. The anti-fans are probably yapping just because lol. The girls are fine (so fine, in fact). Also, it amuses me that people complain about the episodes and/or the directorial team when only four episodes are out, LOL. Like, did these people run into the studio, read the script, and decide "oh it's not worth the time"? I mean, if it irks these people so much about the timeline, plot, or even the actresses, just don't watch? Not that difficult 😂

Ok I rarely make comments but I am here expecting to see plot analysis, and ended up with a bunch of either delusional people or the ones who think they know it lol. Tbh, I'm watching the show for the show, and the good chemistry between LingOrm. It doesn't matter what their relationship is in private, or who they have relationships with in private, as long as their pairing on screen makes it comfortable to watch for a GL, that's all that matters.

For those who're seeking more action, please go and watch an action drama instead. Which tag above actually suggested that this would be an action-packed drama? It's GL, lol. Bodyguard and idol are the personas they're taking on, the characters they're playing to bring life to the whole drama. Whoever said that a bodyguard drama = full of action? A good plot doesn't need much action or twists. A good plot could just be as simple as having a story arc, whether it's through verbal communication (messaging), story direction, or even subtle mood changes and expressions.

I don't understand how people are complaining that the storyline is poor when it's just four episodes so far. There has been progression since episode 1; there's a buildup to the characters. Although I do not deny that the pacing could be a little faster, we come to realise it's a slow-burning drama. There are also so many other characters yet to be introduced, so how is this a "bad storyline". The story JUST started.

For clarity, everyone's entitled to their opinions, but I'm just putting my two cents out there after seeing all the ridiculous comments in this thread lol. I'm looking forward to the remaining episodes and how this will eventually unfold. And while I do think there's always room for improvement, the girls' chemistry is comfortable to watch. There are emotions in their acting, and that's enough.

i thought it went pretty well until the ending came LOL it was so mid and no conclusion. i see some people writing that it's first half of the novel so hopefully there's a S2, otherwise this truly ain't it.
