hey thanks! it has just been misunderstandings after misunderstandings up to this point so i hope the next half gets better, and more logical...

unpopular opinion - i think there's a difference between slow burn r/s vs push-pull. this is way too much back and forth :(

i see people commenting how the slow burn romance here is acceptable. i would second this opinion if it stays within a novel but considering it's a drama, this romance - or, lack thereof - is too damn slow. i'm up to ep 21 and the leads are STILL pushing and pulling; wanting each other but not going for it because of all their environment factors. at this point honestly i would rather they call it quits and move on :')

biggest guess would be that Shang Chun instigating or pushing him down since they were all at the club. i am looking forward to the ending just so we see all these nonsense arc resolved

the whole arc on the little brother's "not marrying me means you don't love me", and not realising his own mentality problem is a MESS. a mess that's so painful to watch.

i just started on this (ep 4-5 now). didn't read the novel so i've no expectations but i can't stop thinking how similar the firefighting scenes are to the show that recently just ended its run (with William Chan as ML) lol. well i guess let's just hope this one gets better with the romance at least?

i initially hesitated to catch this because of all the comments here but it turned out pretty okay!! i binged all 11 ep in one night and now i'm just waiting for the next to be out.

good thoughts, thank you for sharing! i personally felt there could be more twist and turns to the arcs so not to waste the first two eps but of course, without any push and pulls. i basically skipped through the intro and outro so audio defo didn't play much to how i viewed this. the show eventually turned out well but comparing to other shows from the same cast respectively, that would explain my rating for the component :)

I really liked the FL in Wow Mom previously (i cried buckets for that show lol) so lets see how this goes!

ok I RETRACT THIS: i continued and now this is getting its rhythm. it's not the most exciting but there's something to follow; also apart from FL ML's storyline, i'm also excited to follow zhiqiu (zhang meng's) line.

i really like QL as an actress, as well as her past works, but i'm really not feeling this show. i managed to sit through 3 eps but i definitely am not hooked/ following the storyline LOL only hoping for it to get better in the next few
