While I usually prefer a happy ending I guess I kinda understand the open ending. Its not exactly about whether the ML is alive in the present but even if he is theres always a possibility for him to die anytime unexpectedly
I know most people are bothered by the ending but for me the unnecessary long ep was the issue. I think condensing the story would have made this a really good drama it was also save the FL from multiple near death fire incidents. I think a 24 ep would have been enough (max 30)
Okay so I binged watched a whole drama after soooo long because currently having commitment issues but I watched this in one day and hence it’s 5am now but I can’t sleep unless I talk about it.
I saw a couple of comments talking about not liking the FL character and 1-2 mentioned that she had something going on with the SML towards the end I did kinda watch it on fast forward but I don’t remember skipping over something like this. Please NOTIFY ME ASAP IF I MISSED IT hahaha
But my thoughts, the shows was not bad, cliche just the way I like my dramas but I will say I wasn’t the biggest fan of the FL character and the time line of the whole story and how’s it laid out makes the story lacking. The whole story feels very segregated/divided first 15% all about the FL, her job, her plan next 80% ML simping but they don’t get together the FL was kinda confusing I thought they started dates a couple times but I guess not which made it feel dragged last 5% all about the ML revenge plot crammed up. I think the story would have made more sense if we saw little of everything simultaneously and wouldn’t have felt dragged
it was a pretty good show, nice characters. Like most ppl I will have to agree that last 2 ep was bs. the 2 nd couple's romance wasn't romancing but their individual characters were good. overall good quick watch
question? why did Jackie li get back lash shoed in ep 8(irltime ep 1 had just realised) because she wasn't even part of the fight between song dan dan and li cue Qin
I actually really like dit when it comes to short/mini dramas the expectations are def not the same as for longer dramas given that I think this mini drama very good. the only thing for me is that the end battle with stepmom, the ML won too easily like why didnt he do that in the first place instead of fake marriage but well not a big deal still was good. Would have liked to see some of the side couple as well I think they would be a good watch
