Can someone tell me what time the morning clip from Episode 7 will come out in KST? Looking forward to watching the clip to get me through Monday's work!
This show is really great so far, and I'm glad it's being subbed. Glad to see Mamiya Shotaro as a ml, I really liked him in RemoLove. I'm a bit worried about the fl's secret though...I hope it isn't life-threatening or something. :(
Can someone tell me how the drama is so far? I like Joy, but most of the people who say the drama is good are hyping it up for her. Can I get an unbiased opinion?
Also, how is Joy's storyline here? Will she have a happy ending?
I can't believe I'm in love with Shota Totsuka even though homeboy is 13 years older than me...hoping he gets another great Jdrama as a leading man soon! Will miss seeing him onscreen every Tuesday night.
Can someone whoās good in Japanese do a basic breakdown of what happened in Episode 7? š I watched the raw…
Hi so I forgot I was Chinese and I could just find the Chinese subs and translate.
So, episode 7. I'll try to make a brief summary.
Basically flashback to a month ago when the other girls in the company are discussing Kamisaka. He doesn't really care. Blah blah, we have the scene where Amaki-san corners him in his friend's bar and his friend spills the beans on his first love. Amaki-san takes him to the motel. After they do it, Kamisaka finds himself embarrassed(? - not sure if this is the right word) or awkward. He finds himself getting more and more curious about Rinko-san, especially in that scene wherein she had red pants and was rushing back and forth from the room to the bathroom.
Kamisaka wonders to himself why Amaki-san is so obsessed with accumulating experience. Then he witnesses the photographer, Hiyama, talking to her. He notices Amaki-san is shy. Kamisaka is amused that he found out about her reasoning so early. He tells her good job after Hiyama leaves.
There's a scene of Kamisaka pondering to himself at the bar. His friend congratulates him on his first love. Kamisaka is like huh? I didn't say anything. (Another thing to note, Kamisaka also realizes that while what he feels for Amaki-san is different from his first love, it's still definitely something significant and noteworthy).
When Kamisaka witnesses Amaki-san on a date with Hiyama, he says that it's this guy, Hiyama, who helps Kamisaka accelerate his thought processes/feelings for Amaki-san (because he feels jealous). Later, when he meets Iino again, she's like, "We haven't met in 10 years!" While she prattles on, Kamisaka reflects that he thought meeting her would help his feelings subside, he was wrong. (Implying he doesn't really care about Iino-san).
We're shown the scene where he tries to explain to Amaki-san that his necktie just got a stain, and she refuses to hear him out, etc etc. He hugs her, she's like let go of me. He asks her if she dislikes his touch so much. Amaki-san says no, that's not what she meant. Kamisaka says that it's okay for Hiyama to touch her, but not him to touch Amaki. Amaki-san asks if he wants to be with Iino-san anyway and leaves before he can say he would rather be with her.
I'll skip some redundant parts, like when they met in the bar with Iino-san, basically Amaki seemed unbothered. Anyway, we have the scene wherein Amaki shows up at Kamisaka's house to confess, but Iino shows up. Amaki leaves and Kamisaka tries to run after her, but Iino grabs him and says that she needs help, she's hurt, and the moment she got engaged, her fiance became colder and colder towards her. He apologizes and he says he needs to go after Amaki.
As Kamisaka is running, he explains in a voiceover montage that he fell in love with Amaki-san because of her weaknesses, clumsiness, cuteness, etc. Anyway, he catches up to Amaki-san but she is already with Hiyama. Kamisaka realizes that the clown all along was him.
Hiyama asks if Amaki is okay, and she says yes, and just comments about her bad luck that day with her heels breaking and all. He makes a joke and she laughs, and then she realizes Hiyama was able to momentarily make her forget about Kamisaka. She tells Hiyama it's okay to escort her until a certain point only. After she turns away, Hiyama calls her out and says he wants to go out with her, be happy every day with her, etc. He says that if she doesn't give her answer by tomorrow, he will give up.
Amaki reflects on her happy times with Hiyama, him making her laugh, but afterwards she recalls all her loving memories with Kamisaka.
The next Tuesday, Amaki and Kamisaka meet at a zoo as expected. She thought he wouldn't show up, but he says an appointment is an appointment. After looking at animals and eating food she prepared. she tells Kamisaka that this is the last time they are meeting as she has decided she will not meet him again. He is shocked, and she explains she has made the decision to date Hiyama. She says thank you for everything, and for dealing with her antics, etc. When she turns to go, he grabs her to hug her. She says to let go, and he apologizes and lets her go. Amaki in voiceover says she wishes to build their twisted relationship. However, based on Episode 8 previews, she is dating Hiyama already and introducing him to her friend.
Can someone whoās good in Japanese do a basic breakdown of what happened in Episode 7? š I watched the raw and I could tell it was all about Kamisakaās inner thoughts and feelings. I canāt wait to find out what he was experiencing. ššš (Yeah Iām lowkey excited with the jealousy scenes).
Iām glad things progressed between our 2 main leads. That bit where Akiha hid the 5 million won from her parents from Momose wasā¦š„µ
What I liked: Iām lowkey glad that Momose is finally realizing (?) his feelings, albeit through jealousy instigated by Yuito. I also like how Akiha really focused on her job more than Momose here.
What I didnāt like: Momose genuinely still thinks he is not in love with Akiha and that thereās such thing as a āfriendship kiss,ā due to Yuito baiting him with Yuito and Akihaās relationship. Iām convinced that there is no way someone, even someone as antisocial as Momose, who believes that a guy and girl can kiss on the lips and still be friends. He canāt be gullible enough to believe Yuito if he is smart enough to know that the relationship between his brother and Miharu is romantic.
I also wished Akiha improved her self-worth. I get that she canāt control her feelings. I salute her for focusing on her job. But I wish she wouldnāt pine over a guy who doesnāt exactly love her and is still hung up on his first love, his SIL.
For the next episodes, Iām hoping that Akiha will end up āleavingā Momose even just temporarily. Similar to another Kdrama I loved, Because This Is My First Life, I hope that like the female lead there, Akiha will just leave their home for a bit and search for independence so Momose can finally admit to himself that he does actually love Akiha, once he feels the weight of her absence. Because at the rate we are going here, Momose dismisses his jealousy as friendship instead of love (I think of it more as the possessiveness a child has for a friend, rather than the jealousy of a romantic partner), and heās still pretty convinced that heās still in love with Miharu.
Rooting for Akiha to explore what she really wants first (like, maybe even get a divorce, ffs) before the drama inevitably makes her and Momose a legit couple. š Not sure if this will happen since Iām sure Miharu is making a comeback based on Ep 7 previews, but hey, a girl can hope for the sake of character and plot development. š¤£
Really love this Jdrama! I wasn't a big fan of the plot, but I enjoyed the passionate romance. Most of the Jdramas I watched in the past were too cutesy. Can anyone recommend me more dramas with hot leads and intense chemistry like the mature love in this drama?
Really loved this drama! The cast was solid and had some great chemistry with each other. As someone who read the webtoon, I liked how they stuck to most of the plot points there yet deviated significantly towards the latter half of the show. I feel like the changes they made made sense.
All in all, this drama balanced its romance and comedy perfectly. I'm going to miss it so much! My Wednesdays and Thursdays will never be the same. š (So if you have tips on filling the void, please tell me!)
I have a question: Why did Hye Sun take out her blue marble in the end? This wasn't in the webtoon...is she going to erase Do Jae Jin's memories so he doesn't miss her too much while he's in the military?
Dear webtoon readers,What are your predictions/theories for ep 16? What's on your wishlist you want to see tomorrow?
1. In the webtoon, there was a funny arc where SWY thought Dam didn't want to marry him and he was pretty hurt by this. Dam's mom also warns him (in a joking way) that Dam wouldn't want to get married. Dam avoids giving him an answer until she gets a job. Then she explains that while she wants to spend time with him, she's still young and she feels like she's not yet ready to become a wife and mother yet. I found that scene cute and a good example of communication between partners. In Episode 15, we see SWY wistfully looking at people with families and kids so I hope this factor plays in the drama in a funny way as well.
2. I really want to see SWY meeting Dam's family after he visits her graduation ceremony (and the dad kinda judges SWY). I'm a bit disappointed that Dam is supposed to be a junior (based on Episode 15), so I am not sure how they are gonna pull this off. There was a funny scene where Dam introduces Dan to SWY and he thinks his sister is bluffing or bribed SWY (because SWY is too good-looking). I'm kind of worried that the show will create a time jump of a year without SWY to when Dam graduates, because in the webtoon, he never disappeared. The previews suggest differently, though.
NAUR but even after reading the webtoon, I'm still so bothered by Lee Dam dropping Shin Woo Yeo's class. Especially right before finals! Seok sunbae is rightāthat's a semester's worth of studying down the drain. š
I might just be overly grade conscious but I hope she aces the exam and graduates on time, all while getting a jobājust like in the manhwa!
its starting to get annoying with the red thread thing, also the kiss with sml totally ruined it for me (even…
The red string will break when Dam tells Seon Woo "Let's say goodbye for the last time" a few days before graduation. Then the red string will connect to Shin Woo Yeo. (And then the "God"/deity will show his true colors and start shipping them.
