Taishi Miwa

Hopefully we got the 8.5 episode where Makino wears that stupid suit lol.

Episode 8 is my favorite so far! the choir scene legit makes me cry. Ema-chan's acting is really good in that episode.

Rina's jinx continues. Idk if its just me, but that hallucination scene is kinda unconvincing lol.
Either way, gonna cry when the Araki's and Rina finds out about Shin-ni.

The time we knew when the drama ends usually at the final episodes preview or they announce it on SNS. Unless it was pre-determined, usually for big budget drama/direct to OTT.

Lazy a** twist.

It is the broadcaster (TV) that put the barrier to distribute their drama overseas, not Netflix.

Sawada is probably someone that we've seen in the past. My guess is that he is Takeo.
I don't buy the kensho theory since he is older than Asako. Also someone in early-mid 80's as your personal driver is a no no.

Shin's fate is sealed in the diary, I gonna cry when that happen. The endgame is going to be a bittersweet banger, in Nogi sensei we trust.

If you notice it, Asako's brother went from Banka Kyuta to Banka Tenta.

Making this a two part movie (1st movie until Kota's death, 2nd movie the rest) or a high budget limited series could make this work a classic. So much content to explore like Rui's background, a massive increase in Nobunaga's screentime, the Fencing/Karate duo and many more.

The main issue is that this is too short, they want to compressed everything making the second half of the movie a big mess.

Everyone deserve a partner like Taiga, he's the best!

No need to debate, everyone agrees that the 2nd half of the drama is entirely lazy writing.

Given that, my guess:
Shin-Rina->Teppei's granny, Shin is most likely die in the final arc.
Asako-Kensho->Leave the Island earlier, that's why she's feeling guilty on Ep.1
Teppei-Yuriko->Die in Hashima

Izumi is Asako!!! A bit sad that my preditction is wrong haha. The way Nogi Akiko conceal hear identitiy is brilliant. Nobody have a firm guess until the reveal.

Then, what will happen with Yuriko?

It will get Vivant treatment i think. One thing for sure, tbs already set an overseas release.

The calm before the storm, the final 4 episode gonna be wild.

Muto Shogo keeps making banger until Kamen Rider Build. After that, its a "hit or miss".

This is, very loosely based on it.

The programmer that always sleep everytime the sales department visit them is legit LMAO.

Yess 1000%, first the old man love his wife so much. And there is one character that in love with programming.
