The serialized version are referred by p1rat3z as "4 hour cuts" rather than serialized/drama version. Iwai himself encourage the viewer to watch the director's cut (3 hour cut), rather than the other 2. Me personally haven't find the 119 minutes cut.

I think it is going to be at least set in Late Showa / Heisei, but it won't be surprising if it is set somewhere in Reiwa. The current synopsis kinda give amachan vibes to it.

Adopted I think, the guy Shota handed the 4 leaf clover is his biological dad. And it seems that Kei knew something about it.

It is implied that Mirai become a famous actress when she is raising up Shota (She is busy and having a big house). But in the final scene, she still live in her current apartment.

Matilda is definitely alive isn't she. And it seems that Kinpo's mom is probably the one who spread the rumor.

The entirety of episode 10 made me cry.

Since Hachiro is still alive, there is a slim possibility that Matilda survived in some sort of way. Hachiro is mentally disabled after all.
