From the first 4 episodes, they acted like she's a troublesome weirdo/airhead. Only her teacher, Chika (implied) and possibly Midori knew her condition.

Midori is her "Oshi"/Hyperfix.

Gordon on episode 3 is a whole different beast, best episode so far.

I feel like Fumito is a last minute decision from the execs lol (no senior actor for sunday theater = the okachan's won't be watching). It feels like it's supposed to be Ryo-Hitoka story from the beginning.

If this is something properly planned as the final season of Sentai before going on a hiatus, I'm pretty confident that they gonna make it as good as KingOhger or Gokaiger. Crazy to think that successful alumni like Jun and Yuki appeared on Boonboomger but not here.

It seems that the first cours is to finish the unanswered question from the first season, then the second cours is whatever the outcome of this vs Evil. And if the rumors are true, we'll have a movie to wrap things up.

Most of the core students from both Akira season already had a decent experience (some played lead roles before). But TBF, it seems they wanted to replicate 1998 where everyone is relatively raw and it turns out to be great.

The question is more of a why they greenlit such a dreadful pilot episode.

Potentially too draggy for a 45 minute drama, the 30 minutes format is better suited.
