I think he is the character that the writer hoped that the viewers thinks that he is the one (but he isn't). My money is on Yano. I don't read the manga so idk if we're going to get a surprise addition or not.

The moment when the leads realized that their memory being rewritten, I think it should be happen on episode 2. It's gonna be good to misdirect the viewer to think that this is a Sci-fi drama at first when it isn't.

Props to the remaining actor on the final 2 episode, all of them deserve a standing ovation.

The final 20 minutes is beautiful.

He is Kizashi from 2070, also his existence implied that Ichimatsu successfully develop the antidote/e-capsule that does not have any side effect.

The final episode feels a bit rushed (no pun intended), but Nogi-sensei able to pull this off nicely. Was thinking that we got an extra 10-15 minutes for the finale.
